Workshop Wednesday - Give Crafting Tips, Offer Services, Help Your Fellow Crafters!

Posted: 13 Jun 2018 02:00 AM PDT

Hey folks,

Welcome to Workshop Wednesday, a community-building, regularly occurring thread on the subreddit!

Workshop Wednesday is a thread aimed at all things crafting, from sharing tips and knowledge, providing assistance, or offering crafting services to others.

Got a way to get more of those pesky crafting mats into your inventory? Have a rare recipe you're willing to produce for others? Just want to help with crafting as a whole? Let the community know here!

Crafting is a deep system in The Elder Scrolls Online with multiple professions, so be sure to participate in the thread whether you're a crafting novice or a master at sweetroll baking.

Please keep in mind the 'no personal attacks' rule in our sidebar, disagree respectfully with others, and know that a repeated or seemingly obvious bit of knowledge may not be obvious to everyone.

In addition, please be careful about posting in-game information about your account name/characters for conducting crafting business. We recommend contact information be shared privately to keep your account secure.

We look forward to your contributions!

Probably the best dialogue option I’ve ever seen in the game. None other has ever made actually LOL. Summerset 10/10

Anyone else feel the psjiic order quest line was underwhelming?

Posted: 13 Jun 2018 12:50 AM PDT

I just feel that it felt a bit wrong that the strongest mage organization was turned into a scavenger hunt. though the rest of the summerset content was nice

What are the pro/cons of a magicka warden and the pro/cons of a stamina warden?

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 09:40 PM PDT

I recently got the morrowind expansion, and like this class. However, I'm not sure which is better.

I'm asking you guys because I don't want to watch a 20 minute youtube video of bad dubstep intro, a guy with an annoying voice and terrible mic showing the two fight with no explaination, and then only talking about them for 3 minutes before going back into the bad dubstep + PvP clips.

Any help will be appreciated!

Recently got back into the game after ages of absence. Feels good to be back! Everything seems so much more polished than I remember.

[Discussion] Summerset's Last Boss Model is Ridiculous (SPOILERS)

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 07:53 PM PDT

Just finished the Summerset main quest line.

I can't believe they just slapped that crappy dress on a randomized Redguard model and called it a day.

Mephala and Vile look SO GOOD in comparison.

Why.

Just got an email saying I've successfully redeemed a code for ESO.. check to see if you got your rewards for watching the stream

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 07:37 AM PDT

Got the Ice Wolf and 5 ouroboros crown crates

Edit: no, you can't get these rewards anymore.. it was available only during Bethesda's E3 presentation

Got wolf but no crates

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 07:54 AM PDT

Finally got BE3 rewards - e-mail stated that I can get both wolf and crates in-game now, but on entering I've found only wolf mount, but no crates.

Detail I hadn't noticed before regarding dolmens and geysers (summerset spoilers)

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 11:15 PM PDT

When you haven't done the first Harbourage quest, you won't hear Molag Bal at the end of the dolmen with his usual "the skin of those you love will fly as my banners" voice lines.

When you haven't uncovered Nocturnal as the antagonist, she won't announce the boss she summons, and that one sload you kill in the storyline will instead.

Cool.

Anybody else noticing something weird with lightning staff heavy attacks?

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 06:29 PM PDT

It feels like sometimes they don't go off as I expect, and don't channel. This seems to have started happening since Summerset. Were there some changes to heavy attacks? Or is this a known bug?

Building a Berserker

Posted: 13 Jun 2018 02:22 AM PDT

Disclaimer: I haven't touched TESO in years. Last I played it, it still had a sub.

With that out of the way, would some kind soul either point me in the right direction or give me some tips as to how best replicate the berserker archetype in TESO?

Back in the day I created an imperial Shadowblade. Seemed closest to me. Either dual-wield or two-handed, simulating enrages with haste and flat +damage boosts. It's also my only character, so I'll have to make it work.

I'm kind of max-level but have barely any of these champion levels or whatever they're called and almost everything in stamina. Right now I'm mostly just charging enemies and bitchslap them with my two-hander until they're dead. My dual-wield quickbar is mostly life-leech, self-heal and whatnot, for tougher enemies or situations. But it kind of lacks the zing. Maybe it's just me though.

Seriously need a Buying guide [PS4]

Posted: 13 Jun 2018 01:52 AM PDT

I'm having trouble seeing the forest for the trees at the moment. I've never played ESO but I'm looking to get into it now on PS4. However, I have no idea what to buy. There's loads of bundles and expansions, and some do include older content but not everything?

  • The base game is like 10 euro's on disc at the local retail. No clue if that does include Morrowind these days?
  • Morrowind on disc is like 20 euro's. That includes the main game I guess?
  • Summerset is like 35 euro's in retail. That includes the main game? Does it also include Morrowind?
  • Then there's the 'Collection' on PSN which is like 70 euro's but apparently includes the base game, morrowind and summerset, plus 4 DLC. But somehow that doesn't seem like a good deal, considering Morrowind is included in the base game and also in Summerset nowadays? Right? Is the DLC that expensive that it justifies the pricetag? I don't get it.

I'm seriously lost haha. I want to play through the main story to begin with, and am especially interested in thieves guild and dark brotherhood gameplay. I believe those are DLC? Eventually I'll also want to venture to Morrowind and Summerset isles of course, once I am 'done' with the stuff I like from the base game. I have no real interest in playing a Warden, I'd like a sneaky duelwielder/archer (Nightblade? Sorceror?).

Anyone that can help me or point me to an article or something which lays out the buying options?

Just switched from Xbox to PC

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 01:31 PM PDT

I have to say that even though I would have loved the option to save my characters or transfer the hundreds of hours that I've spent on console to PC, starting off on PC is already preferable for me. The interfaces, graphics, and gameplay is superior in every way. I'm really excited for this fresh start.

Anyone having ESO Crashing and infinite loading screens?

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 07:51 PM PDT

Just as the title says, I've been having these problems ever since the Summerset patch but is happening more and more since the patch earlier this week.

DK Tank set armor question!

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 11:34 PM PDT

Hey everyone! So I've been tanking for awhile and I'd like to think I'm quite good. I'm currently using Lord Warden + Ebon set bonuses and have room to add in another set. I was thinking warriors poet, but there's so many options.

Also, the third set must not be from trials. Haven't ran trials on the tank yet and I want 3 solid sets first.

Is the Morag Tong Dunmer only?

Posted: 13 Jun 2018 03:18 AM PDT

Searched briefly online and found one forum post that was unclear and from 5 years ago. Can races besides the Dunmer join the Morag Tong?

I'm partially through the Naryu quest in Morrowind and it felt like to me that they operate under the Houses? Looking for in-game lore sources if possible.

Thank you.

We should be able to show our back bar weapons

Posted: 12 Jun 2018 12:09 PM PDT

Anyone else agree that we should be able to see our back bar weapons? For example my Stamina Night blade would look great with his bow on his back with daggers on his hips.

I know it's not ideal for certain builds that use certain combinations of weapons but that's why an option to show back bar weapons would be best Imo. It would really help immersion while also looking cool as shit I literally see no reason to not allow us.

Even the Brenton in the CGI has it already :(
