I like setting up flying missions in editor and I fly on my friends PvE server, After playing a bit of a game called "DCS World" (which is honestly hard as shit Im still learning how to line up an attack without missing every shot) Coming back to arma it feels a bit like your plane is flying in a vaccum with nothing holding it back, Best I can describe the flight model is empty, What do you Arma pilots think? Because Im aware some I&A servers have some really dedicated pilots.

ACE3 Medical - Unrevivable death?

So, my friends and I play using ACE3 with revive enabled. One thing you notice is that you are revivable pretty much irregardless of how gruesome and brutal your death is. If you get blown up inside a catastrophically-killed tank, or hosed by a .50 cal, you are more than likely irreversibly dead.

So what I'm wondering is if there is a way, whether its settings or another mod or what, where you can make it so certain death events/types result in permanent death?

If not, do you think they should implement that? I think it would be a pretty good feature, I hope it already exists in one form or another.

Are there still any active servers that are battle royale, exile, milsim etc? if so, what are the best way to reach them? I seen some people saying use a3 launcher but i have no clue what it is. Alos, what are some essential mods I need and is the singleplayer worth it? Thanks in advance guys, it means alot

How important is it to have the DLC for ARMA

Hey all!

If you are unaware, humblebundle currently has a bundle up for ARMA (Find it here, https://www.humblebundle.com/games/arma-2018-bundle?hmb_source=navbar&hmb_medium=product_tile&hmb_campaign ), and I was wondering how important is it to get all the DLC, or is it fine with just the base game?

Also how good is ARMA 2, and is it worth getting (considering there is a tier difference between ARMA 3 apex and all other ARMA DLC, and you can get ARMA 2 and some of it's dlc's)?

Is it normal to ask someone to create a mission you have planned and placed units for, but have no knowledge in making it "work" the way you envisioned?

I have tried making a custom mission is up to standard, i think i'm asking for more than i know how to do. I have made some triggers but there's a lot missing, especially in AI behavior.

We have played my mission on a community i play with and many liked the layout, but there's a lot more potential to make it more enjoyable.

So my question, is there a modder or mission maker, maybe a group or subredit that take on requests like that?

Weird PTT & TFR bug. Anyone have a solution?

Problem: my TS profile is set up to use a push-to-talk button, which works as long as I stay out of the TFR channel. After loading into a server, I get an error message about the addon being outdated, but most people in my unit encounter the same problem and can continue fine.

My PTT will work fine until I speak over the radio, after which my microphone becomes voice activated for the rest of the duration.

I've tried running TS as admin, redownloading the addon for TS, changing my push-to-talk key, but to no avail.

HELP! Arma 3 showing no servers

I bought arma 3 yesterday.

So YESTERDAY I had this problem where I installed A3Launcher and downloaded all the mods needed for a certain server, but everytime I tried to connect I got this: https://i.imgur.com/7D8vEDr.jpg - basically I got stuck in the loading screen

Usually it says I'm using Modified Data Files and I got that yellow circle on the right (probably means disconnection) and then I just get a warning saying I got kicked out of the game.

TODAY I got ArmA 3 running, went on the multiplayer server browser tab and I see absolutely no server, literally 0 servers there.

Can anyone help me solve this?
