| Posted: 06 May 2018 12:05 PM PDT The following is a vid about taking down triple FPs. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7Yn_yLQhvg When I see vids like this, it always seems that dynamite stuns FPs quite reliably, at least more often than 50%. However when I try it on the testing map (6p, hoe, lvl25 demo), I am lucky to stun FPs 30% of the time with Concussive Rounds (which I'd rather not use, since Armor Piercing Rounds allows me to kill Scrakes reliably). This makes me prefer to not use Dynamite at all, since there will always be a big chance that at least 2 will rage, making triple FP kills rather difficult. Am I just having terrible luck or is there a trick to it (like aiming at the head)? Someone told me that Dynamite can even reliably stun raged FPs, of which I'm not so sure. TL., DR.: Dynamite stun, how does it work? EDIT: Yeah, hitting them in the legs works most of the time, even without the Concussive Rounds perk. Although the head has a 0.05 point improvement to stun, hitting the legs is so effective that aiming for it almost isn't worth it. Thanks for the heads up. [link] [comments] | ||
| Why are my bullets going up when rapid firing? Posted: 06 May 2018 11:51 AM PDT When playing any class I've noticed that if you rapid fire/full auto for an extended period of time your bullets will go up? It's not recoil. For example, if I rapid fire a scrake with a p90, after like 10 rounds the bullets will fly over his head? I'll be aiming at his head, managing the recoil and keeping the reticle on his face but if I keep shooting my bullets go over his head. What is this stupid mechanic? I've also seen that when I play 25 Gunslinger, during zed time with fan fire I will rapid fire a scrakes head with the dual 500s but my bullets will fly over his head after a couple of rapid fire shots. What is up with this? It makes headshots inconsistent if you rapid fire or full auto. Anyone else experience what I'm talking about? Like, I'll play swat and full auto a scrake in the face then my bullets will go over his head and I have to aim at his chest so I can continue to headshot him.
