Cactus [Alpha 0.0.1] - A Modern Diablo II Version Switcher

Hello all,

Almost a week ago I announced that I would be rewritting my Bliss Version Switcher application. I'm proud to announce the first alpha version of it, which I will label 0.0.1. All of the core features are working (Except for the Up and Down buttons in the main UI (These are just for positioning the entries).

There is still a lot more work to do to bring it to a more polished state, but the application is more than working atm. Make sure to backup your characters before trying this since it's experimental and there probably are weird edge cases/bugs.

The .exe is located in the "Release" folder. Please follow the instructions in the README for the initial setup since that's usually the most tricky part.

You can download my "Bliss Complete Collection" package that contains all of the version files. Due note, that to play versions before 1.12, you will need an ISO or a legal disc. There are also graphical setting changes that you may need to change depending on the version of Windows you are running. These are _not_ issues with Cactus, but rather the game is just that old.

Cactus [Alpha 0.0.4] Released! - A Modern Diablo II Version Switcher

The following is a bug fix, feature update, and stability update. Since it's still alpha there are lots of things to continue to improve. With this massive set a changes, this is one step closer to an official release. The version switcher is basically ready. It also now replaces Bliss Version Switcher in my Bliss Complete Collection pack. I'll leave it as Alpha 0.0.4 for a while until I feel more confident marking it as 1.0.0.

Improvements

- Added license header to all files, removed unused references

- Fixed a bug where multiple UI related selection features weren't working.

This affected things like adding and deleting entries.

- Copying now selects the newly added object.

- Implemented Move "Up" and "Down" support.

- Fixed bug where an exception was happening if the Entries.json

file didn't exist.

- Cactus will now automatically select a newly added entry.

- Some minor optimizations

- Added more output messages (deleting, editing when selecting no entries)

- Fixed minor typos in the "Down" message.

- Fixed bug where editing an entry with no path would cause a failure.

- Fixed a bug where launching a label with no path would cause a failure.

- Fixed some bugs related to editing an entry that contains no changes.

- Cactus now automatically selects the last ran version if one exists.

- When you delete an entry, the previous entry will be selected if possible.

- A message box will now be displayed if there was an error launching the application.

- Wrote/Updated Documentation.

D2: Ethereal Vortex shield

Hi guys

I found farming WSK in hell a ethereal vortex shield with 45 all resist with no sockets

How i socket him?? i read is fking expensive shield and dont wana fk it until be sure

If i larzuk it get 4 sockets??

And what i should do in him to get the end pala gear? ty

Mouse fix for Diablo 2?

Is there any way to run Diablo 2 windowed and have it use the same mouse settings as on your desktop? Whenever I move the cursor into the D2 window it jumps and is drastically sped up.

Potential Bug? no enchantment options from mystic.

Hi all, can anyone advise, trying to re roll stat on my Dead Man's Legacy and it wont let me select a stat to re roll, says I've already enchanted it before even tho there is no re rolled stat icon and takes my money db's and mats when i click replace property and doesn't give me anything in return.

D3 adventure mode locked

Hi, I played few seasons ago, uninstalled for space saving reasons and wanted to play again yesterday. After installing the game, I can't access the adventure mode anymore and it says I have to complete story mode with at least 1 character before going for adventure mode. I have completed the story mode before few seasons ago so shouldn't the adventure mode be open for non seasonal playing ay least?
