In Episode 74 of Dragon Ball Super, you can hear the scream of Adult Link from OOT. At 1:24 in the linked clip. Both characters are voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama.

Loved BotW, can't get into OoT. What am I missing?

Posted: 11 Apr 2018 05:17 AM PDT

Growing up, I never played the Zelda games. BotW made me fall in love with Zelda. I figured I had to play what's considered the best game of all time next: OoT. I really want to love it, but every time I play it.. it just feels like a chore. The first dungeon (deku tree) I didn't really know what it wanted from me, so after about 20 minutes of getting frustrated I ended up looking up a walkthrough. I end up wandering around a lot because I'm not sure what to do next. However, it doesn't feel fun to wander around in this game because it feels small, yet empty compared to BotW. Whenever I see anything cool (a piece of heart, etc) I'm not sure how to get it or if I even can get it yet due to not having the necessary tools, so it makes me not want to waste my time. I miss the sense of freedom I had in BotW.

Am I just missing the nostalgia? Am I approaching the game the wrong way? Please help me enjoy this game.

3d printed PLA model to 100% bronze metal castings. After 4 months of trial and error I finally have my dirt cheap process nailed down for most non-ferrous metal alloys. And yes, this will go on to a completely functional hand forged "Mastersword".

BotW was my first Zelda, and I wanted to try the other games in the franchise. Which one should I go for first?

I'm torn between Majora's Mask for the unique atmosphere, Wind Waker for the cartoony artstyle or Twilight Princess because Link is a wolf. Which one would you recommend and why?

What is your favorite part of any Zelda game?

Posted: 11 Apr 2018 09:21 AM PDT

Mine is any of the haunted or undead portions. I love the shadow temple from OoT and earth temple from WW. The music, the environments, and the enemies are always exciting.

What are your favorite parts of any Zelda game? They don't have to be locations or moments in the games. I'm just curious to see what other people feel their favorite parts of series are.

[BOTW style] A drought in Mexico uncovered a 400-year-old colonial church in the middle of a reservoir.
