I know it might be petty, but at least it protects others from potentially getting scammed. I'm just annoyed of my chat being spammed with that and other key words such as "nocturno" and "grave digger."

I find myself in need of char-black mineral powder more than any other resource I have. I farm for hours and never have a problem getting enough of something other that powder.

I can't be the only one here. I don't understand why something that is in almost ever trap doesn't have a 100% drop rate like nuts and bolts. Why can't I just craft it by come binding to things like rough ore and adhesive resin?

Why I think STW should NEVER get free

I have many friends who would like to have STW. When I asked them why they would like to have it, they responded with V-bucks for BR. They wouldn't play the because they liked it but just for the V-bucks. I can't imagine how but this will probably ruin the community. What do you think?

Just came back to Fortnite after taking a break since early December and my goodness, this game is much more fun than I remember.

I haven't looked at the full patch notes yet but I already noticed some significant changes myself in the game like:

  • sprinting no longer uses up energy!! It completely changes the game!

  • I just got 46 pure rain drops from doing a canny valley mission. That. Is. Awesome.

  • I noticed searching stuff like flowers and boxes are so much faster too. Makes running around much more fun. I actually stop by to search stuff again!

  • Stacks! Wow, after learning about increased stack size, I was able to go from 174/175 backpack to 104/175. So. Much. Better.

  • Hoverboard! I'm not sure what's the purpose of this one is because of the sprinting energy change, but it does seem to be slightly faster so that's something!

  • All missions are now green and I was able to actually get some XP in plankerton which is very nice!

  • Recycling stuff finally give back materials! I can finally retire some survivors and get drops back.

I'm sure there are many more changes but I'm suddenly having a lot more fun playing this game now. This will definitely keep me around for a long time! Hope other people are feeling the same way as well.

Why is it so hard to find SSD help?

Seriously, Why do you only give us a 1:30 after activation for it to search before starting? Why can't people just see the active defenses and join them? For something that directly restricts your quest progress you'd think you'd have a better system in place for people to get them done.

I'm trying to get my Canny 6 SSD done but the only thing I can do in the game is repeatedly cycle chat rooms (by switching game types between BR and STW) and the few times anyone has said anything they are level 19-24. One of them even said he would be fine because his Nocturno was 102.

Epic, PLEASE, add some sort of method for people to join SSD's and let people hosting them sit and wait for someone to join. Don't just give us a minute and auto start it. /end rant

So I recently saw someone on this reddit linking on what the fastest way to move was, and they used this trick where they stood on top of a firework and when you activated it it would send you flying.. now I did this but I went inside the balloon and it looked like this it was pretty funny.

Having played Fortnite since early alpha, I've seen this community change over time, and it's always been a great community.

 

However, recently I've seen people witch-hunting in global chat, and being rude/mean to other players when they are either asking for help or asking for someone to spare a weapon.

 

I understand a lot of players are tired of seeing trading in the global chat, but that's no reason to be toxic to your fellow community members. Doing so, not only continues to keep the community toxic, but continues to overshadow what good deeds other people do for their fellow players. It only takes a few minutes to help someone, and it doesn't hurt to spare someone a few materials, or a few weapons.

 

Spare your kindness, and help out your fellow community members! I know this community is much better than that, so share the love everyone! -Msgtfox

So my friends and I found out that the hoverboard speed pads can actually be used a bit more efficiently when it comes to cost and more effective in the way theyre used. So instaed of having that railway system all around the SSD, just have one boost pad pointing in the direction of where you want to go, stand on top of the pad, and summon your hoverboard. For some reason the launch pad really does launch you at a high speed that its pretty much as if you were to teleport. Just having one pad and something like a wall to catch you at the end so you dont go flying off the map is really all you need for travel
