Diablo - PSA: Life per hit is actually just life per attack

PSA: Life per hit is actually just life per attack

Posted: 04 Apr 2018 07:52 AM PDT

Been playing as a monk, with no real decent recovery for the WoL build we need life per hit on at least one weapon, I always thought that life per hit would work better the more density you have on screen (the more enemies you hit at once) as you would expect based on the description of it being per hit, I remember it always used to work with proc coefficients of skills so if you had an aoe skill it would give you 1/5th your life per hit per enemy hit so it would balance out and have advantages for hitting more mobs at once. Sadly though in recent times its been nerfed to just be your life per hit procced only once per attack on one enemy hit, regardless of if you hit 1 or 10 enemies. This is kinda crap

What's the max lvl of all legendary gems again?

I don't want to make the mistake of lvling a gem only to find out it's capped at a low level

Weekly Loot Wednesday - 04/04/18

Posted: 04 Apr 2018 07:00 AM PDT

Welcome to week 292 of the Weekly Loot Wednesday thread!

Have you found something an item so amazing that you can't help but share it? Maybe you found a perfect trifecta Ring of Royal Grandeur, or a Wand of Woh with a socket, but there was no one to see it? Post your awesome loot here, so you can enjoy the fame (and upvotes)! Be sure to check back regularly to see what amazing items others may have found. Show support for this and point people here as this will help keep "look what I found" post from clogging up the front page. Also please consider sorting by new to see what new things people have posted!

Tips:

  • When posting an image, make sure you crop it and use imgur for the best quality and upvotes.

  • Show the item's stat ranges by holding Ctrl when taking a screenshot.

If you have any suggestions for this thread or any other ideas, please message the mods.

New player here; What are the early do's and don'ts?

Posted: 04 Apr 2018 06:46 AM PDT

I'm currently around Torment VII/VIII running a Phalanx Crusader build, which I know is a bit crap and I'll have to transition out of later. I'm running regular rifts and bounties trying to get legendaries and set items. But I honestly have very little idea of what is super good or rare. Not quite sure exactly what Ancients are or Primals or how to influence their drop rates.

Thanks in advance for the tips :)

Noob question about class set

Posted: 04 Apr 2018 09:41 AM PDT

Hey guys, I'm getting into Diablo III again but there's so many things I don't understand, hope y'all can help me :D

1) I understand that you get the class sets through Haedrig's Gift which is a reward for doing seasonal characters. If I level a Necromancer and do the seasonal challenges, can I open Haedrig's Gift on my Crusader and get the set there?

And 2) I can see right now there's a certain seasonal set. Is there any way to get older seasonal sets? Like Crusader's Roland's Legacy or Seeker of the Light?

Thank you!

Que-Hegan's Will, Mace of the Crows, Steffon's Heavy Lance Transmogs

Posted: 04 Apr 2018 02:30 AM PDT

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone in the r/diablo community has Que-Hegan's Will, Mace of the Crows, and/or Steffon's Heavy Lance transmogs in their stash they want to share? I've been grinding way too long for these with no luck :(

I have some transmogs of my own (Templar's Chain, Sungjae's Fury, Panther's Claw, Ghoul King's Blade, God Butcher, Crossbow of Corvus, and the 2 Quinquennial Swords from Development Hell) if you want to trade/exchange for the items in the title?

Thanks :)
