Everyone needs to watch mynameisbyf's video on how to fix the lack of depth in Destiny.

Posted: 31 Mar 2018 03:53 AM PDT

This video explains a perfect middleground between those who like Destiny 1 and those who prefer Destiny 2. It details the perfect scenario, using the best parts from D1 and D2 together to make a hybrid game with lots of depth.

Spoiler alert: it doesn't involve random rolls because random rolls are an artificial and lazy way of extending a games life. Every other game ever made proves Random rolls are unecessary. But there is a BETTER idea instead, so please watch even if you like Random Rolls and want to see them come back.

There is no D1 supremecy in this video and there also isn't any hate against D2. Byf perfectly presents this in an adult way that has found the perfect compromises between the currently divided Destiny playerbase.

If everyone thought like Byf I think our community would be united and know what to do to make the game better, without removing key parts of the game someone else really likes.

If you are a D2 fanboy, D1 supremicist, D2 hater, D1 salt spreader or just any kind of Destiny player, you NEED to watch this video.

Please post your thoughts, I think this really is the solution to Destiny's problems. If you like this video I also suggest watching mynameisbyf's video on the Archive Tab.

Good day guardians.

Is now a good time to come back to Destiny 2?

Posted: 31 Mar 2018 07:34 AM PDT

I purchased the game on launch and enjoyed playing it until I very quickly ran out of things to do. I had max gear and the raid on the hardest difficulty didn't provide any increase. So did they add more content to make the game worth playing again?

Watch out for Origins and Endings clan

Posted: 30 Mar 2018 05:36 PM PDT

Do not join this clan. It is run by one of the most toxic players I have ever played with. I joined a while back on PC, and everything was great. Really helpful players who were always willing to help newbs with the newest activities. To preface what I'm about to say, I've been raiding with this clan for the past 3 months about every Saturday night, so keep that in mind. Today when trials opened up, I and 2 other players who had never run it before were attempting to make a team. From the start we made it clear that only one of us had a mic, and we didn't expect to win at all. The leader of the clan decided to join as our fourth (like I said, fantastic group of people). Unsurprisingly, we lost about 5 matches in a row, and decided to call it quits. This guy proceeds to flame all of us in the general chat of the clans discord, and get angry at us for losing, going on about lack of skill, and how we were delusional for expecting to win. Excuse me what? When I and the other two players I was with decided to call him out, stating that his behavior was actively discouraging people from the game, he kicked all of us from the clam immediately. Lesson learned. While the players within the clan are great, the leadership is some of the worst I've ever seen. Avoid at all costs.

Every Time We Clash - A Crucible Music Video Montage

Posted: 31 Mar 2018 07:34 AM PDT

Rumble is fun. As-is. 8-player deathmatch is fine, spawn is fine, power ammo is fine.

Posted: 31 Mar 2018 05:57 AM PDT

No, really! If you've been sitting on the sidelines because of all the salty comments out there, go give it a try, it's probably not as bad as you've imagined.

All that complaining about solo-queuing with crazy blueberries that just run off into the sunset? There's none of that here, it's just you vs. the world. And with 8 people in the game? Not a few seconds go by before you find someone to shoot (or someone is shooting you). Reminds me of the old Quake deathmatch days. Spawn locations do get a bit dicey sometimes, but to me that just adds to the chaos and pace of the game and that's great. Power ammo? There's a lot, but that's good, right? That 3rd weapon slot is finally usable, I get to use my stupid tractor cannon at least a few times each round, it's all good fun.

And I'm always on the wrong end of these things, but it's good to see new weapons in the mix now. No longer getting killed by Better Devils and Darkest Before, now it's Antiope-D and Legend of Acrius! All hail ...

This subreddit seems better

Posted: 31 Mar 2018 08:30 AM PDT

Overall comparing this to the other Destiny subreddit, this is not nearly as negative or critical toward the game, why is that? Not saying its a bad thing

As Ridiculous As I May Come Across...

Posted: 30 Mar 2018 07:29 PM PDT

...I absolutely miss firing up Destiny 1 and hearing the Rise of Iron theme. That music got me every time. Even a family member asked what movie I was watching, and added that the music was awesome. I miss year three when it was new and all functional. Long live the victory lap!

[Video] Destiny 2 -i9 7900x- Go Fast update Crucible EP2

Posted: 31 Mar 2018 04:02 AM PDT

It'd be cool if you could upgrade cool-looking blues into legendary/masterwork. Is there anything at all like that in the works?

Posted: 30 Mar 2018 02:06 PM PDT

Seems like if it were possible, it'd diversify the weapon catalog a good bit.

Edit: also, I've heard of people using blues in crucible. I know everything scales, but is that really viable?

Who said 8 people in Rumble is hard?

Posted: 31 Mar 2018 03:16 AM PDT

I think we should get a solo queue before adding quitting penalties.
