It's been 5 months since the last LFG megathread was made for this sub, and since then we've gotten quite the influx of LFG posts, so we're going to reset the thread now so it will hopefully become relevant.

Hopefully we'll update the post frequently so it stays relevant and is a convenient way to search for groups!

So please—no more LFG self posts. This will be officially added to the rules.

Also, if you would like to join the Subreddit Discord Server, feel free to, and access the LFG tools there.

Been playing D1 since launch day right up to the last expansion but I didn't get D2 on launch due to mixed reviews. Now that I'm getting bored of monster hunter, I'm kinda missing the D1 nostalgia. Some may say the cons outweigh the pros but is it worth it for a long time fan?

Anyone who plays on Xbox have tips on how to communicate with your clan? I don't have a lot of irl friends that enjoy mmo's so I typically gravitate towards games where I can communicate with a guild via voice chat. As there's no discord app for the xbox (which is absolutely mind-blowing in my opinion), how do you guys communicate with your clan?

Ps4 - Worth to buy now?

Hi all. I've just bought a ps4, and i wanted to get some games. I've seen that in stores destiny 2 is 20 euros, and i've been considering it. I've never played Destiny 1, but i have read that this game was not so great when it launched. Are things better now? Is the game worth starting now?

I was considering between this and ESO Morrowind to scratch my MMO itch...

Titanskating in Crucible

What are peoples opinions about using the new "titanskating" in the crucible? I tried it a couple of times and it actually saved me from hammers and novas and pairing it with a shotgun was pretty nasty. But I don't know what to think of it since it is a bit of a glitch rather than an intended ability. Also it doesn't work on console so yeah..

I wrote a short story based on a friend's Crucible clip. Thought you guys might enjoy it.

The Clip

"Ikora Rey!" Lord Shaxx booms, causing a few Guardians to turn their heads. "Have you finally come back to the Crucible to show these new Guardians how to fight?"

"Not today, Shaxx," she humbly replies, concealing a smirk that forced its way through her normally calm demeanor. "Things have been quiet ever since the Guardians took down Panoptes. I figured it was time I made the rounds, made sure nobody except Cayde was being stupid. How is the Crucible faring? Last I heard, less and less Guardians were showing up."

"The Crucible matches have been splendid!" The large Titan proudly announces, as if the whole world had asked and not one Warlock. "Ever since Banshee tuned up all the weapons, Guardians have been flocking to compete against one another!"

"Really?" Ikora fires back, unconvinced.

"What reason do I have to lie? There's some great new talent in the arena, have a look for yourself," he counters, gesturing to one of the monitors on the wall.

The monitor displays a Guardian, bravely standing his ground atop a square column as he fires his hand cannon at a hostile Sunbreaker. As the flaming foe closes in, he quickly drops into cover, and two solar hammers sail over his head soon after. As they explode behind him, he jumps up onto the pillar once more, firing at a new target. The target flees behind a wall, and the Guardian leaps forward, summoning his own fiery hammer and throwing it at his quarry's cover. It collides with the wall behind it, detonating in a brilliant flash and effectively dispatching his target as he continues his charge into battle. Bolts of void energy pepper the Sunbreaker from behind, and he whips around to see a hostile Guardian leaping around, firing an automatic energy weapon. The Titan effortlessly slings a single hammer at the opponent, and scores a direct hit. As he turns away, the corpse detonates in the background, scattering shards of solar energy.

"THAT shut them down!" Shaxx cheers, his Ghost relaying this message to the Guardian. "He's one of my favorites," he informs Ikora, not turning away from the screen. "Goes by Souperior. He humiliates his foes, then they get greeted with a pun! HA! I love it!" Ikora rolls her eyes, but continues to spectate the Sunbreaker.

With his Super quickly running out, he charges recklessly into a cave, immediately finding two more targets. He launches two more hammers as fast as he can, the last one leaving his hand right as his super concludes. Both projectiles strike their targets with deadly accuracy. In the background, a third Guardian jumps into view.

"Missed one," Ikora comments, unimpressed.

"Did he?" Shaxx responds, unmoving.

The last fallen Guardian's corpse erupts in a violent burst, sending out fiery explosives in all directions. The final opponent disappears behind a rock, and reappears as a corpse, exploding soon after.

"Two for one! Look at them fall!" Shaxx booms, ecstatic.

"Lucky," Ikora concludes dismissively.

"Titans don't need luck," he responds, following with a hearty laugh.

The Warlock shakes her head, sighs, and leaves the Crucible pit. "Have fun, Shaxx."

"Oh, I will!"

Quick question about spending upgrade points..

I'm a noob so excuse my noob question etc.

I was playing last night and unlocked my 2nd sub-class on my Warlock blah blah. Ok so you have different melee, grenade and jump mechanics you can select and also two groups of four passive to unlock.

Well here is my confusion, I had no points left to spend but the 2nd grenade option had that undulating border suggesting I could unlock it so I did. How though was I able to since I had no points?

I went back to the starter sub class to see if there were points sat in there and there wasn't so went back to the Void sub-class and unlocked a 2nd jump mechanic, again how was I able to?

So, are upgrade points only used for unlocking those passives, or did I have a bug letting me unlock stuff I without spare points?

The best way to add random rolls is to keep the weapon statistic roll, this way the weapons remains good. For example, uriels gift, keep the statistic roll on the gun, and add extra columns of perks that can be random roll. This way the weapons still remains good even if it get trash roll perks, but u can still get a godlike uriels gift drowning on the rolls. I believe this is a good way of giving us random roll, ppl may not like it but rather then getting one uriels gift with trash rolls that u can't even use. With the statistic rolls, the gun will still be usable but the extra columns of perks that can be random roll will be the deciding factor of if the weapon will be good, a beast, or godlike.

I have Nameless Midnight, but it kidn of sucks in PvP. There seems to be no new updated information after the latest patch where everything got buffed apparently. Anyhelp?
