| League rank distribution compared to other games Posted: 28 Mar 2018 08:47 AM PDT One thing that comes up a lot is what is considered low elo and why a lot of people feel stuck in a low rank. There was a post recently on summoner school called Please don't feel bad about your rank and there was a very good point that league's rank distribution can negatively skew player perception. I pulled available data on rank distribution for five popular games to illustrate this point in a chart. Note: for certain games I had to translate other rank names i.e. I changed Dota Herald to Bronze and Guardian to Silver. The big takeaway here is that League has a vast majority of the playerbase in the two lowest ranks and even breaking into gold requires being in the top third of all players. I feel that this can be a blessing and a curse. On one hand, moving up in rank has a lot of weight and moving up a tier involves a large jump in player ability. On the other hand, a lot of players will feel like they are in a low elo, especially if they are used to the ranking ladder in other games. Note on the data I used: If anyone has a more reliable source for some of this data I will rerun the chart. So about 3 years ago I decided I will make a figure! I've never sculpted before, but I knew I have decent hand-eye coordination. I feel kinda ashamed it took that long, but there were times I didn't touch it for months (mostly because I had hard time with some part and doubted my ability to do it, other times because of work). But, finally, here it is! It's about 18 cm tall, 25 with base (7", 10"). Made mostly with Apoxie Sculpt and plastic sheets. First off, a small disclaimer; I don't actually play Kindred. I'm a terrible jungler, but I do love their concept quite a bit.
Anyways, I find their ult to be a bit off if you look at their concept as it prolongs life. Sure, you can argue that they have that power as the embodiement of death, but I still don't think it fits their theme. I though instead that you could have it so that nearby enemies with low hp are charmed, while high hp targets are feared for whatever duration and whatever area would be balanced.
My thinking is that this reflects their dual nature, those injured and suffering (low hp) would readily accept Lamb's arrows, while those with life still in them and strength to fight (high hp) are running from Wolf.
If you think of them as a jungler and ganking, I also feel it makes more sense, but yeah... I'm crap at jungling.

When your 1st tower is destroyed and the minions are pushed to the 2nd tier, go roam or start warding. Allow the adc gain solo exp. It is likely that their bot will rotate mid to push. Go support the mid lane when this is the case. I see too many support just sitting around the adc literally jerkin off.
Edit: Additional tip! If your the adc, dont ever push past the tri bush when ur supp is somewhere else jerkin off. You will see grey screen few seconds after. Just dont do it!
