While I was flying over the Murrieta oil fields, I got hit by an Adios Airlines jet. What would be the chance of something like this happening? | Posted: 15 Mar 2018 09:13 AM PDT So, last summer I torrented GTA V to see if it was worth playing, because I was planning on buying it anyway. My PC ran the game very well, over 60 fps all the time, no problem. On Windows 10 it used to randomly stutter, so I tried changing to Windows 7 and it was fine, it started to lag after like 30 minutes to 1 hour every time I was driving fast or crashing in stuff. (specs below) Today I just bought the game so I can have it legit (this is an amazing game and I would have died rather than live without buying it at some point) and play online with my brother, and it's even worse. I have Windows 7 now and I tried EVERY FUCKING THING to make this game run smooth. The irony? I have a better, newer graphics card so the game should run even better (I used to play on Normal graphics and now I play on high 1680x1050 native). Specs:
Sorry for being so desperate but it's just ultimately annoying not to be able to play the game after buying it and waiting months to be able to have it. I have literally no fucking idea what to do. The game works fine 1-2 minutes, then it starts to stutter a little bit randomly, then heavily, like 1-2 seconds when I drive fast, crash into something and stuff like this. I can't bear this anymore. I tried uninstalling my Realtek driver (I have the default Windows one), messing with settings in nVidia Control Panel, adjusted settings in game, disabled stuff in Services.msc, I don't know anymore. It did this shit on Windows 10 too. Seems that no matter what I do, I just can't damn solve this ONE thing. Jesus. Also my game is on Rockstar Social Club, not Steam. Could use some help, thanks. EDIT I'm mad because for Christ's sake, my brother with his shittier laptop, integrated intel graphics, shit ass old i5 and 4 gb ram works FLAWLESSLY. On a laptop. Yes.
