So, I qued a dungeon with a friend, I was like cp 190, he was level 26.. other 2 guys were 27/33.. I qued as healer, my friend dps.

We get in the dungeon, and on all the adds and first boss I noticed the tank was running around all over trying to avoid getting hit, while using a bow.. I asked him to not run around that we lose dps that way, it didn't work.

I noticed the tank was actually dps, often times I was left with the aggro of all the enemies, including bosses..My friend voted to kick the tank, I naturally agreed, the vote failed so he tried again.

Then I dropped out of party chat to go to game chat while we were fighting the 2nd boss, I asked why he's in there as a tank when he's clearly not.. I see a group message that says "he's with me, if you don't like it, leave" I said why should I leave I'm actually a healer, not a dps pretending to be.

That triggered me, rather than offer a reason, they immediately started acting like idiots, I then started getting messages on ps4 from someone not even in the group asking why I'm crying and whining about it, amongst other colorful language. So these 2 had another person join in lol, and were all acting like children berating me and my friend etc.

They also said "do your job and heal" to which I replied "how can I do my job when the tank isn't a real tank and not doing his?"

So it was these reasons that I purposefully let him die and proceeded to t-bag his dead corpse every time I could!

I don't feel I was in the wrong here, it was satisfying letting him die over and over then t-bag him was so much fun. Especially after the way they acted.

So, was I being stubborn and should have let it go and just "do my job" and heal?

Fixing the Main Quest Problem for Story-lovers (And a warning to new players)

If you don't care to read the next two paragraphs, the summary of my argument will be that the game needs an option to prevent players who want to play the story in order from not playing it in order. If just some kind of suggestion system for the next quest or prevent quests that occur after another in the story.

After logging what must be at least 120 hours or so into this game. Having beat both the Questline of the 5 companions and The Planemeld, I ended up going to Eastmarch one day and started the questline about Jorunn being poisoned and I was soon realizing that at some point along the way, I had totally messed up the order on which I did the quests in this game. And then it made sense as to why I had no understanding who Jorunn was (and why he came out of nowhere) when I wrapped myself up in the questline about Sinmur and the worm cult prematurely.

I never went to Shadowfen much outside of the Fighter's Guild Questline and just randomly exploring. But now after beating the Maulborn, I needed to go there, on the other hand, as soon as I talked to Naryu & Company in the mage's guild I was approached by Galerion and pulled into the Planemeld.

As someone who enjoys the story, I've unknowingly ruined the order of the story for myself and with the character I consider my "True" vestige. Is it kinda petty? Maybe, but it's important to me. I'm looking at making another character that in appearances is a duplicate of my main but rolling Nightblade instead of Templar so I can follow the story correctly and correct it in my head.

Bypassing the 100fps cap in ESO

For those who want to raise their fps cap. Here's a fix. I found this on discord and don't know if it has been posted on here before but just wanted to share anyways.

"If you have a fancy gaming monitor and are bugged by this game's 100FPS cap, I've found a workaround to allow you set an arbitrary in-game cap.

You need to edit the UserSettings.txt file under your home directory tree: Exit both the game and launcher. Navigate to Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live/ Open the UserSettings.txt file (notepad, wordpad, etc) Change the SET MinFrameTime.2 directive to whatever you want. For example, to cap your framerate at 120FPS (perfect for strobed backlight gaming), calculate the setting at 1/120, which is 0.00833333.

So just to be clear, for 120FPS, it's SET MinFrameTime.2 "0.00833333" and for 144FPS it's SET MinFrameTime.2 "0.00694444"" Set it to the second value when u'll setup the monitor"

new "player" - customer support...is there any?

Over two days ago, I saw there was a small sale on eso and I've always wanted to try it, so I said what the heck.

I'll attempt to make this short;

I goto purchase the game, get an email, success! Log back into my account and it doesn't show the game. Promptly check my bank statement. Yup purchase has been made....TWICE.

So I submit a ticket. It's been almost three days now. So far It's just auto responses that have nothing to do with my issue(s)

1) I'd like my account to show that I have the game...so i can y'know, play it.

2) I would like my refund for the second charge

and lastly I've been trying to gain access to the forums to pry into some issues//ask some questions.

I've had one canned email response in 3 days. I honestly submitted a complaint to the BBB, because I've had zero contact with anyone at this point, and they've essentially stolen money from me.

As someone who's never played this game before, I must say, quite the first impression.

Sorry, that WAS long. Basically wondering if there's a more foolproof way to to get a real response//resolve the issue. (I've responded the single auto response email 6 times, in hopes it would trigger something)

Am I missing something? This is the worst customer service I've ever dealt with, ever. by far. ever.

Sorry again, clearly needed to let some steam off.

[PC] Bloodfiends not working?

Hey! I've been looking for vampirism for a while and got lucky with the spawns in the rift earlier.

Thing is, even after letting the bloodfiends hit me for 5 minutes straight i didn't get infected :(

I've confirmed that it was the right bloodfiends in the right place at the right time and yet it just wouldn't work. Did i miss something here? Is there something else i needed to do? Is it just random?

I am not a werewolf, just in case that question comes up!

Would really appreciate any help with this.

Confused about dk build (not max level)

Hi! I came back to eso this week and decided to try cyrodill with my dk (level 35). I'm still a newbie and i didn't play eso for a year. I am having a lot of fun in cyrodill, since i'm not a pvp guy, that was surprising but i really love cyrodill.

Now, as many of us newbie do, i effed up my build by putting random stuff around. Obviously i am not effective in pvp.

I want to make a tank/support build that can be both useful in pvp and tanking dungeons (but main focus will be pvp).

I'm confused on what to do, many build i find online are either outdated or not that tanky. Since i don't care about kills count or stuff like that, i only care about being useful and having fun. I want to distract enemies, charge into a group of them without dieing instantly. I want to debuff and slow them while buffing my allies.

I REAAAAALLY love 1h and shield, but it seems like it's not the best choice for any build.

Should i instead suck it up and keep my broken build until max level?

Also, i found lot of websites with builds, but i don't know which are trustworthy and up to date, can you point me to an up-to-date build website?

As you can see i'm quite confused and don't know what to do...

I've tried the email/first name/lastname account recovery but my first account was on Xbox during a free weekend and it didn't ask for any first name/last name. Is there a way around it? Is there a way to actually contact support and not some instructions? I just want my main email for my eso account
