Today, a Crystal Maiden player donated me his Tomb of Knowledge

He innocently said in his SEA native tongue "hayz!" and called attention towards himself. Poor guy had been disconnected for half of the laning stage. He walked towards me, wearing just some brown boots, carrying a bunch of sentries and a tomb of knowledge. Took him a while to catch up to my Terrorblade speeding away using the Yasha and BoTs. He innocently handed the tomb to me and just walked away.

I was left speechless. This was the first time I had been given a tomb to use. A tomb that a guy bought using about a fifth of his networth. And I didn't even acknowledge him running after me since a minute, I was too busy microing my illusions.

I just couldn't bring myself to use it. It felt wrong.

I went and put the item back into his inventory. He wrote a "no" followed by "use it" and again gave it to me. I said "its just a game my friend, enjoy it". I dragged it over his hero, and teleported away.

He stood there for the next 10 seconds. That was perhaps the first time he had been respected, and treated as an equal. He knew he had fucked up, he was more or less a liability to us in the laning phase, but that tomb was a reminder of the fact that he too was a fellow Dota 2 player, that too one from SEA where disconnects are frequent.

He never used it. It was in his inventory in the post-game screen. He kept it as some sort of a trophy which he had earned.

Allowing dagger to target and damage through magic immunity seems to have allowed PA to target and kill the courier with it. Surely this isn't intended?

Inb4 roaming, courier sniping pos4 PA.

Thanks to the generous donations of our community, Open Angel Arena now has a development budget. We have decided to put this budget back into the community through putting bounties on our GitHub issues.

We currently have over 2500€ in bounties up, with more to come!

The system is simple: Complete the given task, get paid!

We pay 20-30€ for smaller pieces of coding and 50€ for bigger projects like a new boss. We also offer bounties for particle and sound work.

I especially want to encourage any model artists to look at our GitHub, we are paying 150€ for each custom model!

This is not spec work: You may lay claim to an issue, reserving the bounty for yourself. Here are our Guidelines. As long as you stick to the requirements laid out in the guidelines and deliver the product, the bounty is yours the moment you claim it.
