Why are we not getting Archeage Prime?

If you look at: https://www.reddit.com/r/MMORPG/comments/84ee52/trion_announces_new_progression_servers_for/ there's clearly a massive demand for the game, but most people won't touch it with a 10 foot pole due to it's exploitative business model. Is it really that much more profitable to have a small F2P playerbase with a handful of whales than a large playerbase with everyone paying $15/month?

I personally know about a dozen or so people that would mainline AA if it ever went sub fee + no/cosmetic only cash shop. Isn't Trion severely underestimating the amount of adults with disposable income that just want a "fair" sandbox mmo?

Some of my favorite gaming moments were in AA Alpha and the first few weeks after launch, but I have no desire to go through the heartache of seeing delphinad credit card wielders destroy the game you love again.

Progression servers and Fresh Start Packs

Hey guys, I just tried to buy a pack, but got the following message:

Your purchase could not be completed. One of the following errors may have been the reason:
* You already own this product
* This product is no longer available
* You are not eligible to purchase this product_required
We apologize for any inconvenience.

I guess it's because I'm using my old alpha account. Do I have to create a new one, using a new email address?

Also, just out of curiosity, leaving all the bad things we know well about AA (its publisher, actually), how many of you will give it another chance this fresh start?

Hello there,

Just wanting to check if there's been any official word of if/when 4.5 will be rolled out on the PTR?

It would be very helpful to check the final exact tooltips on skills and recipe changes, etc. before the fresh start launches.

The one thing I've been avoiding about this game is the pay 2 win and not to mention the exploitable land features I've heard so much about with Bots roaming around in droves killing you during your pirate adventures, and also taking all the land up, will this be fixed or will it be a repeat of the massive horror stories I've heard/seen?
