Just wanted to say that the clue scroll rework is fantastic. I was never much of a clue solver myself, but this update finally gave me reasons to start doing it and i'm loving it! Stackable clues/caskets are a great QoL, some of the new cosmetics are great and the master clues really feel worthwhile doing!

Premier Club are getting screwed over by the token System for pre-paid card items

TL;DR Jagex screwing over premier members by not automatically unlocking pre-paid card promotional items. We have to use one of a very few tokens we're given, for which there's many more possible "older" unlocks.

Title says it all. New lightning weapon overrides are coming as part of a promotion with the cards. Great. However, notice that unlike every year up until now, Premier Club members do NOT get access to these by default - they must use one of a very limited number of the Premier Club Tokens.

For those that don't know, the premier club tokens can be used to unlock outfits from previous game card promotions, or from previous Premier Club rewards. However, they are now making it so you need to use them to buy this year's rewards too.

Gold members only get a total of 3 tokens; One on purchase, one in January and one in June. So, for those that haven't bought premier in the past, this is not even close to enough tokens to unlock everything. The only other chance they have is to get lucky with RNG and win tokens in the Premier Club monthly D&D, the Premier Vault. (It's a very low drop chance AFAIK).

Please, Jagex, do the right thing. Give the premier club members a token each time you release a game card promotion, or make it so that they get automatic access to the outfits as it's been with every other year of premier.

So far, you've filled your "VIPs" with nothing but dread. You set up a dedicated forum each year, yet last year's missed 2 of your monthly competitions, among other thing, and this years you clearly never visit apart from to do the monthly competitions. There is a Count to 30 before a JMod thread, and it's well over 250 at this point. It's clear JMods don't visit that section of the forums, so Reddit is the only way to get through to them.

Edit:

It's been brought to my attention that it did say you'd need tokens for the new items, however I maintain the position that it was an incredibly short section of the VIP 2018 Q&A and wasn't even in the section regarding the prepaid card promotions. All it said there was that they've been expanded, nothing regarding needing tokens.

It only mentions it, very briefly, in the "What are the tokens?" section. I believe jagex should have been more clear about this, and judging from comments, I'm not the only one caught out by this.
