UK DotA 2 Inhouse relaunches today at 18:00 - Now with prizes and divisions! Posted: 20 Jan 2018 09:25 AM PST Welcome UK players, to the new UK Inhouse League. Now with divisions! (Hosted on FaceIT) What is this? If you are not familiar with this sort of thing, the UK Inhouse League is a hub for UK players to battle it out against each other to show that they're the best player in the country. The queue is currently setup in a way where players of similar ELO ranking play against each other. You gain ELO by winning, and lose it by... losing. When there are 10 people ready for a game, a player draft will start, where the top players will be able to draft players onto their teams. This is to make teams balanced as possible. Once you join, your can access the hub on the FaceIT website through the left sidebar under 'Hubs' -> 'UK Inhouse League' Why are we doing this again? The last hub was super successful, with a peak of 12 games going on at any given time. We had around 800 players involved, and it formed new friendships and rivalries! Now that FaceIT hubs have been officially released, we can now say that it is being re-released with increased support from FaceIT. This includes around 100,000 FaceIT points up for grabs! Now that there are divisions, higher skill players will be matched with higher skill players. This negates some of the issues that were found as problems before. The more casual players can play in a more casual division. What are the requirements? You have to be from the UK. Other than that, no other requirements. As stated above, low ELO players will be matched with other low ELO players, so don't be scared about getting matched with against high MMR/ELO players. You may only join the division that matches your FaceIT rank. I.E Ranks between 1 and 5 will be in division two, while ranks 6 to 10 will be in division one. If you're top in division two, you will be promoted to division one. If you have any issues, just drop us a PM on Reddit or via FaceIT. How can I join?
