Anyone else still not have Groudon because of how hard it is to gather players in your area?

Posted: 19 Dec 2017 02:42 PM PST

I mean my state has a raid discord but whenever i say "there's a groudon raid in (my town)" they say they never heard of that area. No one plays here expect for a guy and his girlfriend but the three of us are never enough to beat a legendary. Niantic really should do something about rural players and legendary raids. I'm just trying to complete my pokedex here..

It's been a while since I've seen those question marks... Weather-boosted Snorlax as highest CP mon!

https://imgur.com/a/BO8bm

The partly cloudy weather in our area brought in a lot of Snorlaxes around, but I managed to snag this guy! L35 puts him between 71 and 73% IVs, and he just beats out my CP 2967 Dragonite. I was waiting for a special occasion to have my first 3000+ CP Pokémon, and I think this does it!

What has been your best weather-boosted catch?

[Meta] Groudon (sunny) can be beaten by 3 dedicated lvl 40 trainers or by 5 average lvl 36 trainers

Posted: 19 Dec 2017 03:05 PM PST

As the title states. Keep in mind this is Groudon with the Sunny bonus.

It's often helpful for me to know the bounds of the average raid party so I'm reporting. The lvl 40s we're all maxed and super effective party composition.

The 5 man raid was lvls 32, 35, 36, 36 and 37. Each typically had 2 or 3 solid counters

Caught a 3030 CP wild Snorlax - Cool [Story] Bro

Posted: 19 Dec 2017 11:48 AM PST

By happenstance I spotted a this wild glorious beast of a Pokémon today. It was partly cloudy weather, which meant Normal type pokémon would get boost. Did it ever. This Snorlax is level 35 and it's IV's are 11/13/13. Gotta hand it to Niantic, I like how this weather thing is working! That's all. Just wanted to share my random moment of excitement while catching it and the happiness when I eventually captured it.

Why there still is porygon in 10km eggs, if we have it in raids?

Posted: 19 Dec 2017 03:03 AM PST

Honestly! What logic is behind keeping gen1 useless pokemon in such eggs or any kind, when u can have it from solo raid? It's was disappointing hatch even when gen2 was, and now u just want to throw phone away, when u see him after walking 10km!! Niantic pls remove it from 10k egg

Did anyone try to go back to ios 10 because of the go plus problem in ios 11?

Posted: 19 Dec 2017 11:15 AM PST

If you did, I would like to know if the go plus delay problem was fixed and the method you took to go back to ios 10. Thanks in advance!

Go Plus on IOS got even worse?

Posted: 19 Dec 2017 03:44 AM PST

The PoGo update about a month ago improved the Go Plus slightly for me. It was registering a button push after 2-3 buzzes, make no a total catch time about 8-10 seconds. But last night I noticed that it went back to a minimum of 5-6 buzzes to register. So now I'm back to 15-20 seconds for a catch which is just unbearable. It's way faster to just catch by hand. Anybody else? I don't remember applying any updates to IOS or PoGo.

[Question] what kind of performance difference will I see from this 49IV dratini with 15 atk?

Posted: 19 Dec 2017 06:17 PM PST

It's level 28 so it would obviously save candy and powder to power up. Let's assume it will be at L30 and a dragonite of course. How much weaker will it be than a 100IV? I have only caught 9 ever, and 2 were hatches, the only other decent ones.

Wait for better or evolve 1, 2 or 3?

1- L28, 15 atk, 5 def, 2 Hp

2- L20, 12, 15, 12

3- L20, 13, 11, 15
