Posted: 21 Dec 2017 06:09 PM PST This is too hilarious. So in FO3, the protectrons in the Metro will ask the player for their ticket. If they have one, the ticket will be removed from your inventory and the protectron will continue patrolling. If you don't have a ticket, they turn hostile and attack. I live in a major city where fare evasion is a common thing - I'd estimate on every tram, there's about a 70-80% chance at least one person didn't pay for a ticket. I'm laughing at how it must have looked like Pre-War. Some poor sob late for work rushes to the station to catch the tram, hoping the ticket inspector won't be there that day. He arrives there and gets caught by a protectron, who instantly vaporizes him and then continues their patrol haha [link] [comments] |

Something new bothers me about the Fallout series Posted: 22 Dec 2017 02:44 PM PST I've been playing these games ever since Fallout 3 came out. I love the series, even with a minor gripe here and there. But recently in the real world I got a dog for the first time since I was a child. I've had him for three months now. We have a lot of adventures together. I started another playthrough of Fallout 4 and it didn't take me long to realize that there's a glaring flaw with the game. People don't interact with your dog. Everywhere I take my dog, people come up to me and want to talk to him, pet him, ask his name, ask what kind of dog he is, tell him he's a good boy, etc. Half my IRL neighbors now know my dog's name but not mine. People recognize us out in public - people whose names I do not know, but they remember my dog's name. When Dogmeat and I met Piper for the first time and she didn't even acknowledge his existence, I felt bad for him. What if he wanted to be petted? What if he wanted some Fancy Lads dog biscuits? In the world of Fallout where dogs are usually feral and dangerous, meeting a friendly dog would be a fairly rare thing. People should be more excited to meet Dogmeat. People should ask all sorts of questions about him and make it hard for you to get anything done because OMG IT'S A PUPPY! YEAH YEAH, SOLE SURVIVOR, YEAH YEAH INSTITUTE, LET ME SCRATCH THAT PUPPY'S HEAD! I know the occasional interaction happens (like when Nick asks you to get your dog to sniff out clues), but it's not nearly like it is in the real world. [link] [comments] |
What In your opinion is the most fun challenge you can do in Fallout 4 Posted: 22 Dec 2017 07:34 AM PST I've played through the game so many times and I look to have a bit of a different play through what are all of your suggestions? [link] [comments] |
How on earth do you remove dead bodies from your settlements? Posted: 22 Dec 2017 01:22 PM PST FO4: Unfortunately I don't have access to the console as I'm on survival. Also, when you do the transfer all junk, does the workbench automatically break things down to their component parts as needed? Thanks Thanks [link] [comments] |

Fallout New Vegas Kello build help Posted: 22 Dec 2017 01:56 PM PST Hey guys, so I'm re playing New Vegas because why not. I'm kidding on that the Courier is actually a young version of Kellog from Fallout 4, and am looking for some help trying to decide what my specials should be, how I should play the game, that sort of thing. I was thinking maybe high intelligence, at least 8 because he seems like he knows about alot of shit, maybe a bit of charisma to barter for higher prices on jobs, perception to help with that revolver action. Any input you guys have would be great. P.s he's at the point of his life where his family have been killed. Edit: bollocks, I posted the title wrong. You can't edit titles ffs, I'm sure you'll all get what I mean. [link] [comments] |

[FO4][PC][REL]Listening Post Zulu – Brotherhood of Steel Player Home Posted: 22 Dec 2017 08:09 AM PST Now available for download on the Fallout 4 Nexus PC ONLY, NO CONSOLE VERSION WILL BE MADE, PLEASE DO NOT ASK Soon after the Brotherhood of Steel arrived in the Commonwealth, an advanced B.O.S. recon team discovered an unused underground pre-war listening post facility in downtown Boston. The Brotherhood restored the bunker to service and it is now ready to function as a safehouse and waystation for Brotherhood patrols...or you can just claim it for yourself and call it home. Listening Post Zulu is a Brotherhood of Steel themed bunker-style player home created in the tradition of player home mods for Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas. Like all of my previous Fallout 4 player home mods, Listening Post Zulu is fully furnished and functional with many interactive scripted features. It is highly detailed with loads of B.O.S. themed decorations and features many custom assets. Weather you're just a lowly initiate, a grizzled Knight or a rough-n-ready Paladin, Listening Post Zulu will give your Brotherhood of Steel character a base of operations in downtown Boston. The player home is fully navmeshed for companions with many idle and comment markers. The bunker cell and all containers in it will not reset so all storage is safe. All beds give the Well Rested and Lover's Embrace perks, there is plenty of clean water for Survival mode, and all workbenches are linked to share resources. Listening Post Zulu is located in downtown Boston near the Charles View Amphitheater and the Vault-Tec Regional HQ. [link] [comments] |

Location suggestion for new Fallout: Philadelphia. Posted: 22 Dec 2017 03:52 PM PST So Philadelphia is my city, and upon walking around the downtown area last night, it came to me that this might be the perfect place for a fallout game. Lets start with locations of interest: Museum of Art - The Philadelphia museum of art (the one with the Rocky steps) would be one of those high volume locations, something like the ghoul city museum place from fallout 3. It huge and has a vast amount of different sections for you to explore. The Benjamin Franklin PKWY - This is the road that is a straight stretch all the way to the museum of art. To me, I can easily see this being some sort of area for a major settlement to build on. The link shows top view to show how long that road is and the possibilities to build on it. City Hall - Of course the City Hall must be included, its the icon of Philly (among other things). City Hall has huge potential to be whatever the game creators want it to be. To me, it looks like something the BOS would set up camp at. Free Library of Philadelphia - This is not as big of a building as my other examples, but a point of interest non the less. I can see this being an abandoned building with something (or someone?) living under ground of the building. The Franklin Institute - This is another museum type building that as of today, has some really cool things that I suggest everyone who comes to philly to check it out. Love Park - This isn't that big of a place, but who knows what fallout people can do to it? Maybe well have the Children of Love or something as a cult. Battleship New Jersey - This is obvious. Although it is in NJ, its right across the river, so its not that far. On the philly side theres a submarine and a couple of old school sail ships that can also be included. DLC Suburbs - If theyd like to, they can make a dlc that transitions the player to the suburbs area of philly, where I live. The link shows and over vieww of areas such as Bustleton, Abington, Horsham, Bensalem, Warminster, etc. These areas are full of tries and neighborhoods, and Penny Pack, which is a huge park we use. Various Colleges - Drexel, U Penn, Community College of Phila., Temple, etc. Underground train system - A must for a fallout game. Kensington: As some of you might know, Kensington is one of the bad parts of philly. Since its a bad place today, I dont see why it cant be infested with ghouls and deathclaws in a few hundred years. New Jersey = DLC let me know what you think and if you have any additions to this list. [link] [comments] |

Need help; NCR guards in Fallout 2 are attacking me for no apparent reason. Posted: 22 Dec 2017 03:07 AM PST I don't remember running into this bug the previous times I've played this game. I've told all my followers to wait in another location on the map, I've stored all my gear in a bookshelf and walked through NCR but naked, that said, they still open fire at me. I've searched online and haven't found any solutions, so I was wondering if any of you guys ran into the issue too and if at all, you happened to solve it? P.S. it's only a couple of guards that start the shootout, I can get quite far on the map without anything happening, which is odd. [link] [comments] |

A couple questions about Fallout 4's multiple endings and there affects. Posted: 22 Dec 2017 02:09 PM PST I'm still playing through my first playthrough of Fallout 4 so I would very much appreciate it if the comment/reply section was kept spoiler free. So I don't know if it's just me but games with multiple endings and choices that change the game have always drove me a bit crazy because I have always wanted to see everything the game has to offer,( not that it ever stopped me from playing or enjoying Mass Effect and ESO ) but since Fallout 4 has such a massive world and it can take up to three hundred hours to complete everything I would rather play NV or 3 then replay 4 again just for an ending. To quit my rambling and just get to my question, how much do the multiple endings for Fallout 4 impact it's end game after you finish the main quest line and do the different conclusions have completely different stories then the rest or is it more along the lines of let's go fight this group of bad guys but I have the choice to bring the brotherhood of steel, minute men or the railroad with me to help and the actual storie stays the same for the most part? Thanks for reading my ramblings that I call a post and its probably just a dumb question anyways, but i definitely appreciate it if any of you guys have some answers for me and if it could be as spoiler free as friggin possible. I apologize if giveing spoiler free answers about the end of a game is a bit hard but I would definitely appreciate it. ( : [link] [comments] |

(PC) Help with Fallout 4 load order and mod issues. Posted: 22 Dec 2017 09:16 AM PST Hey guys, so having a few small issues. Here's the load order. http://docdro.id/MFTIBPR 1.) Some raiders aren't using their weapons and the ammo they have as loot isn't accepted by that gun, i.e. they use an Uzi chambered for 9mm, but my ammo is called 9mm Luger. 2.) Valdacil's Item Sorting doesn't have icons for every item like RadAway and some others... wondering what I'm missing. 3.) Still finding a decent amount of supplies even with the most taxing Rebalancer settings and putting them near the bottom. Just general load order advice and thoughts to the above would be helpful. EDIT: Just found out that it's probably Modern Firearms doing it, but how or why I don't know. Creating merged patches doesn't seem to help. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 21 Dec 2017 06:54 PM PST What was the most difficult moral decision you've ever faced in any of the games? For me, it had to be what to do with Marie in the Pitt. I would much rather raiser her myself than give her to Wernher, and must've spent at least 45 mins contemplating what I should do. [link] [comments] |
