Workshop Wednesday - Give Crafting Tips, Offer Services, Help Your Fellow Crafters! Posted: 13 Dec 2017 01:00 AM PST Hey folks, Welcome to Workshop Wednesday, a community-building, regularly occurring thread on the subreddit! Workshop Wednesday is a thread aimed at all things crafting, from sharing tips and knowledge, providing assistance, or offering crafting services to others. Got a way to get more of those pesky crafting mats into your inventory? Have a rare recipe you're willing to produce for others? Just want to help with crafting as a whole? Let the community know here! Crafting is a deep system in The Elder Scrolls Online with multiple professions, so be sure to participate in the thread whether you're a crafting novice or a master at sweetroll baking. Please keep in mind the 'no personal attacks' rule in our sidebar, disagree respectfully with others, and know that a repeated or seemingly obvious bit of knowledge may not be obvious to everyone. In addition, please be careful about posting in-game information about your account name/characters for conducting crafting business. We recommend contact information be shared privately to keep your account secure. We look forward to your contributions! I was programmed to write posts automatically by /u/Woeler. As a new player I think quests are very impressive! Posted: 13 Dec 2017 12:20 AM PST And I would tell you more about it but you need to bring me 3 shards from the temple... Jokes aside, I think quests are doing a very good job at preparing new players for the game. Just by following quests a player can learn the basics of combat, explore almost all areas on map, learn where to find a creature-material, find out more lore about Tamriel. And as a person who doesn't like reading game wikis all the time, I'm really loving this. I'm playing since last week as a Wood Elf Nightblade and today I managed to solo kill a world boss! Not sure if this is the right way to do it, but it was amazing fighting a boss for 15 mins, constantly running, dodging and shooting. Maybe it's not a big deal for long time players, but building a character with the information i got from the game and seeing it work really made my day. Sorry if my english was bad, but i just wanted to share my opinion :) [link] [comments]

Posted: 13 Dec 2017 02:28 AM PST Like everyone who makes the mistake of thinking vma is a good idea. I thought ide give it a go. A month later literally constantly thinking about completely it. I finally did! I'm on PS4 and from Australia so the lag made it feel even more frustrating and hard. I was stuck on stage nine for what felt like my whole twenties and was seriously thinking about throwing my PS4 through the window. Then somehow someway after so many deaths in game and what felt like real life, I did it!!! I took my shirt of and swung it above my head running around the how. It was the only fair reaction. Such a buzz, don't give up. On my third run I got a sharpened bow. Good luck!!!! [link] [comments]

I'm leveling all crafting without ESO+. Here's how its going... Posted: 12 Dec 2017 12:00 PM PST All of my free gold has gone into bag and bank space. I have also been upgrading horse carrying capacity. Leveling woodworking, smithing, and clothing is easy because there are only a few materials in each profession. I have to throw away alot of the racial crafting motifs because I just don't have space. I keep all the starmetal (redguard) and throw away the others. This means I have to buy them when doing dailies. All alchemy and enchanting mats are put in the bank, where they are offloaded to an alt. All the physical crafting mats are also put in the bank, but they stay there so I can use them. When I log in, I do the dailies first. Then I do alchemy and enchanting. I look up the formula, log into my alt and send the mats to my main. Log back to my main.. do the enchanting and alchemy writs, then submit all the material at once. Provisioning,, I found that its better to just collect all kinds of materials and make what you can, when you can during adventuring. Trying to do the daily writ is almost impossible because you can't stockpile foods. When my bags are full, I go back to a main town, unload everything, and use wayshrine to go back to where I was. SO... how bad is crafting without ESO+? 1) You have to use an alt 2) You have to put all your gold into extra spaces 3) You can't do the daily provisioning writs because you usually don't have the mats, but if you pick up all the food you can and make it as you go, it will level just fine. 4) There is a bunch of time wasted emptying bags, transferring mats to bank and alt, maybe 15 minutes a day. Edit: Also... I've been doing alot of fishing. I think fishing is necessary for the early gold to increase your bank space. (I believe that grinding mobs for gear to sell/deconstruct is not possible because you don't have enough bag space w all the crafting mats.) I've fished about 100 fish and got one Perfect Roe. Which city or town do you consider "home." Posted: 12 Dec 2017 08:55 AM PST Pretty simple question. Which place you keep going to when you need to idle for a while, need a moment to decon/sell/do writs, or meet up with your party before questing/dungeoning/skyshard hunting/etc? Or, maybe you just like paying it a visit from time to time for sentimental reasons or just because you think it's neat. For me, it's Sentinel and Mistral! Though recently I've become really fond of Vivec City. [link] [comments]
Looking for a “shadowy tank” NB build for PvP Posted: 12 Dec 2017 10:34 PM PST I'm interested in creating a build for PvP where I can hide forever and be able to escape/heal with ease if I get caught. I've never been good in PvP so I rarely go to Cyrodil, but I really enjoy the times I have and would like to start. My goal is to create a build where I can solo quests, delves, skyshards, lorebooks, and occasionally sap up some AP from random group battles that I might encounter. I'm not worried about doing damage at all. I'm open to all suggestions on armor, passive, CP, etc. (If possible, I would like to build this from crafted sets since my main is a master crafter). All help is appreciated, thanks! [link] [comments]

How well can Vampirism help a MagSorc? Posted: 13 Dec 2017 03:57 AM PST I currently use a pet build and I'm only level 34 I believe but was wondering if pursuing Vampirism is worth it. [link] [comments]
vampirism necessity for sorcs? Posted: 13 Dec 2017 03:27 AM PST I don't really have an issue with sustain unless I'm being stupid or something but I keep getting told that vamp is the way to go if I wanna be "viable". I'm curious to try being one I just wish it didn't change your face I spent a lot of time making my Breton chick I don't want her to look ugly D: also on a side not are there any really good healer sets I can look out for? (For my Templar healer tho not the Breton she's dps) [link] [comments]
[Discussion] quick question about new life festival Posted: 12 Dec 2017 11:35 PM PST Just a quick question about the event, is it going to be like the Halloween event where you can get drops from bosses too or only from the daily quests? [link] [comments]
What's the purpose of joining guild? Posted: 13 Dec 2017 03:05 AM PST I'm new to ESO and there's a lot of recruiting in chats. So why should I join guild? It is that beneficial? [link] [comments]
Is it worth to buy the game this late? Posted: 12 Dec 2017 10:44 PM PST Since I recently bought Skyrim on pc (only played on ps3 when it was released but stopped when my brother got a ps4 and I didn't want to buy the game again) I got quite addicted to it with all the mods and stuff you can do and add to the game beyond the regular main/side quests and easter eggs, and I was wondering how good is ESO, I guess no one here can be unbiased but if anyone can share some of their experience, both good and bad, that would be cool, I had ESO on ps4 but I played for only 5 hours or so, I couldn't enjoy since playing a MMO alone can be really boring. So besides the obvious "every game is more enjoyable with people" what are your thoughts on this game? Should I spend my money on it? [link] [comments]

Posted: 12 Dec 2017 02:02 PM PST I've been recommended to do dolmens to level so I have, and wow it's incredibly slow. I wouldn't be this shocked if people didn't talk about leveling as it being very quick and easy. Running dolmens is pretty painful, and it probably takes an hour to level up for me. Is this really the best way to level? I'm only level 33 and it's so tedious. [link] [comments]
Did anyone win in the #10MillionStories Sweepstakes? Posted: 13 Dec 2017 12:42 AM PST Do they announce winners or have they even picked winners yet? I thought I read it was going to be December 10. I just wanted to know if I was a loser is all. Thanks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 12 Dec 2017 11:58 PM PST Bugloss Butterflywing Alkahest. For those who need to make this for crafting. Don't confuse if for anything on the official site it's misleading. I have no idea why some people give a long list when you just need a simple answer. No you don't need to add the spider egg. [link] [comments]
