not a whole lot has actually changed or has gotten added in what we're normally removing and enforcing; it's more of a restructure to make more clear what we prohibit and we don't, and how we enforce our rules. regardless, these are the rules we're going by now, so it's probably a good idea to review them

I just had three games in a row where my survivor team mates d/c'd on the first hook.

For some reason people think when this happens that the killer can hack your bank account and take all your money if you stay. Or maybe they think their life is ruined.

Kill me.

Reducing the amount of palettes is not the answer. Reverting them back to their old selves is.

We've all heard talk about the devs 'looking at' palette placements and most likely removing a few here and there right?

This is not the answer.

Infact if they go full ham with this idea, and remove every double-palette or remove every really good loop spot, its gonna become a slaughter in low ranks, while high ranks will still loop to the very best of their capabilities and it'll still be frustrating for Killers and not really fun for Survivors. it'll just take 3 gens to catch someone rather than 5, and after that all the palettes are gone and its a slaughterfest.

What we need is a few more palettes on some maps, and they need to be returned to their pre-vacuum stun happens mid-animation rather than a the start state.

If they are returned to this, low-tiers will still have a lot of palettes to throw down way too early to block the killers path, while high ranks will again, still have a lot of palettes, but if they try to loop it actually carries risk of getting hit if you take too long/mistime it, rather than it being the ultra-safe stupidity that it is now.

Just return palettes to their old-selves, and you'll fix the whole looping problem. Yes it'll still happen, but it won't be as ultra-safe as it is now.

It'll only be uncommonly safe.

TL;DR Don't remove options/resources. Tweak them.

Ping is becoming a problem. Lobby ping, 50. In-game ping 300~~.

MLGA never lied, if it was 30 in lobby, it would be 30 in game. That always was the case, no delay, no teleporting. But now trusting the ingame ping is a death sentence, as survivor 100 ping is okay right? Well in-game i get fucking teleported and get delay of like 2 seconds when dropping a pallet. If you make MLGA use at your own risk, because Ping detection is in the base game, make sure that it works.

So, what do i do? My internet is good, but i still get called an asshat by survivors saying "upgrade internet" And as survivor i am the one getting such problem.

BHVR, please fix.

Devs game is great but console needs work

I bought the game 2 week ago and i noted that i miss a lot of skill checks or ds because the pointer skips from a point to another , as i said in the title game is great but the optimization is awful

Hey guys I don't know if this has been suggested before, but I'd like to suggest a Statistics page. I was thinking similar to what Rockstar games have, with lists of how many times they've done things.

It would be nice to have Survivor Stats and Killer Stats. Survivor could list things like

  • Killers faced

[Faced Nurse: 8]

[Faced Trapper: 13] etc.

Dull Totems Cleansed

Hex Totems Cleansed

Escapes

Hatch Escapes

and so on.

Killers could have something like amount of sacrifices, amount of mori's, how many times they've faced each survivor.

I'm mostly asking because I'd like to be able to track this stuff for achievements sake rather than scribbling on a notepad, but I also think it would just be a cool feature to look at for curiosity's sake.

When Talking Buffs/Nerfs Please Consider AND Mention Both Killer AND Survivor Perspectives

So recently I've been seeing some more discussion about wanting certain aspects changed but I usually see it based around helping killers out which I'm not saying is bad, but I am saying no one should be saying what should be changed to help one side or the other without explaining why.

For example: If you want to say that totems should be changed to better suite Killers making it where they won't spawn on hills, too far from the killer spawn when possible, etc. Make sure you consider and mention the survivors perspective.

Totems CAN spawn on hills or other very easy to find locations while also being far from the killer and it's unfair for the killer since if your hex totem is cleansed, you're down a perk. However, if you've played enough survivor like I have you know it goes both ways. Refer to this diagram I made awhile ago: https://gyazo.com/de53f3a93279120adfa153616d222a4d

I had that exact layout when playing survivor before we spent a solid 10 - 15 minutes looking in stealth, then got bored to the point we went in full sprints hunting it down since we'd rather either die or find it just to get the game over with.

The game shouldn't spawn totems in very open areas that can also make it hard for some killers to reach and stop survivors, but it also shouldn't spawn totems too close to other fire sources that give off similar sounds/effects and covered from every angle.

This expands onto other topics as well such as buffing/nerfing perks or the one I've seen most commonly discussed which is pallets and pallet looping.

When you're being pallet looped it's not fun and a lot of killers authentically camp and tunnel because of it, then go on to cry and moan about it without providing alternatives that make sense.

I've seen people say pallet looping is unfair and when asked what a survivor should do they said, "They shouldn't have to rely on pallets they should be trying to juke me out or stealth to avoid detection at all."

If you juke without running, the killer probably passed out mid swing, if you juke with running you leave tracks that tells the killer exactly where you went meaning you're either getting chased or being let go while stealth is not viable against killers who know how to properly search for people.

Point is that I want to make is this. If you plan to talk about what you'd like for changes to the game for Killer or Survivor, don't neglect the other side. Consider the other side's gameplay perspective and what they'd have to deal with if your desired changes were done or what they'd need to be given to make up for it if suddenly one side would be at a big advantage.
