Ex-Girlfriend left me this before we broke up, I don’t play skyrim. But I think you guys can help can anyone translate it for me? Probably to see what she wants to say before leaving. There’s a second page if anyone’s interested.

The "Khajiit Speak" mod is fabulous

Posted: 18 Nov 2017 06:05 AM PST

This definitely makes me enjoy playing Khajiit even more!! Highly recommend 10/10, great immersive experience.

I've never played with mods before (cause I used to play on the 360 before) and I am having so much fun! Despite Sony's BS nonsense about not letting certain mods in. I've always loved this game, but mods are giving me a fresh, exciting new take on the game. I hope one day Sony decides to stop being dumb about mods, but I won't hold my breath lol.

Skyrim on the Switch is amazing for new dads (and moms too)!

Finally upgraded my PC. She's probably thinking "What's this stuff?"

I'm six years late to Skyrim, but I finally began my journey. In VR.

Posted: 17 Nov 2017 10:07 PM PST

Skyrim, for me, was a game I kept meaning to get but never got around to. Before last night my entire knowledge of the game was based on reviews and memes. I came here to say I'm having the best damned time I've ever had in a video game.

Beams of sunlight through the treetops, sudden downpours with thunder. The freaking music!

I've had my PSVR since launch day and this is the best game I've ever played on it. Actually it's my new favorite video game period.

What Is It With Lydia?

Posted: 18 Nov 2017 04:56 AM PST

Seriously, as great a warrior as she is, she glitches, rushes in when you want to sneak and that 'I'm sworn to carry your burdens' grates on me.

There are dozens of followers but she is one of the first you get if you follow the main quest line.

Curious to know, what do you think of Lydia?

I shot Nazeem in the back, then proceeded to dab on his corpse. I regret nothing

Inigo’s quest question. Spoilers!

Posted: 18 Nov 2017 07:01 AM PST

I just did the part in inigo's questline where I went to the old bastards house, learned about the doom walker and the prophecy, and learned the summon Inigo spell. So now we left being told that the old guy would attempt to summon Inigo back when he figured out something? Does anybody know when he summons us back and what happens? I don't care if there are spoilers.

To be fair...

Posted: 18 Nov 2017 12:07 AM PST

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Skyrim. The gameplay is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the mechanics will go over a typical gamer's head. There's also the Dragborn's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The gamers understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of the gameplay, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Skyrim truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in the Dragonborn's existential catchphrase "Fus Ro Dah," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Todd Howard's genius which unfolds itself on their computer screens. What fools.. how I pity them.
