Fashion Zelda, Round 2: 10 New Stylish Outfits! [Spoilers] Posted: 25 Jul 2017 07:13 AM PDT Hi again! First and foremost, I'd like to thank my wonderful husband /u/ziphion for turning my "I wish there was" into a real website. It's perfect for brainstorming outfits, but it's also just super fun to use. Y'all should check it out! Since you guys enjoyed my first BotW fashion post, I figured I should do some more! I've got 10 more outfits to share, many of which use my favorite new DLC items. I welcome feedback and would also love to see your own creations. Enjoy!
As Ganon's evil spread, it overtook even the most ancient and powerful creatures of Hyrule. One warrior swore to vanquish every beast touched by the infectious magic, and became the legend known as the Lynel Hunter.
L.I.N.K. is a Local Intelligence Network Keeper charged with the safety of the Grid. He patrols the mainframe, hunting for any malicious or suspicious software. He prides himself on keeping a clean system, and it is said that he is an iteration of the legendary Tron's original programming. The God of Death and Lightning
Xolotl is the ancient Aztec god of death and lightning. He whips up wild storms with his frenzied raindances, and the dead wake to join him. He is often unpredictable though, and in periods of calm he can be rather playful. He loves to hang out with his buddy Quetzalcoatl, the mighty feathered serpent.
Link traveled to Zora's Domain to study swordsmanship from the Zora's elite warriors. From dawn to dusk, he leads an ascetic life devoted to mastering the blade. He practices many styles, and is as deadly with a heavy two-handed longblade as with a light rapier. After his training is complete, the anointed paladin will journey to vanquish the evil in Hyrule Castle.
Link is a little Fire Imp living on the slopes of Death Mountain. He is extremely shy, and rarely leaves the lava flows. But, he loves the taste of Goron Spice and has developed a friendship with the Gorons in the city below. The Gorons think he's adorable and they try not to startle him when he comes creeping into town. Link happily catches Fireproof lizards, which are viewed as unwanted pests in the city, but are his favorite delicacy to flavor with Goron Spice. Thus, the Gorons and the Fire Imp live in happy symbiosis.
Chief Riju's younger brother, Link, is the first Gerudo male to be born in many generations. When Riju became the chieftain, she appointed Link Captain of the Guard and gave him the sacred heirlooms Daybreaker and the Scimitar of the Seven to wield. Link is devoted to his sister and has grown up to be a proudly accepted member of his tribe.
Since the Hyrulian army was defeated at Akkala Citadel, the fortress has lain abandoned. None dare approach, for rumors speak of a specter that haunts the ruins. Sightings of a figure veiled in black and wielding a great double axe have been reported.
Discovered as a baby abandoned in the Lost Woods, Link was raised by the spirits of the forest. The elder Korok Chio tries to oversee his education, but Link spends most his day playing with the other Koroks or dancing with Hestu. He can often be found deep in the woods, catching deer or exploring the laughing trees.
Link is a young farm hand living in Hateno Village. His life is a simple one - he manages his small house and takes care of his horse. He works as a stable boy on Dantz's ranch, and helps Reede farm the wheat fields. He gets along well with the other villagers, and tends to be kind of a goofball. But sometimes, this simple farmer is visited by nightmares. A shrouded castle, glowing yellow eyes, and a distant plea for help from a familiar voice...
The Hexing Mask was banished long ago to a dark and empty realm. It clung to its dim life, and wandered until the day it found a strange and wicked light. The light of the Blood Moon pulled the Mask back into the world of the living, where its malice roams once again. [link] [comments] |

Everything that can('t) be done in BotW without starting a main quest. [X-post /r/truezelda] Posted: 25 Jul 2017 04:25 AM PDT So while going through Master Mode, I pretty much ended up using my list of where everything was located from my first playthrough to quickly gather up all the korok seeds, quests, shrines and so forth. Through gathering it all I did not start/continue any new main quests beyond the ones needed to leave the plateau (I also did not talk to Hestu yet cause I'm gonna do so with 900 koroks already gathered) This left me with : . Korok seeds : It is perfectly possible to obtain all but 2 koroks seeds without doing any main quests. Shrines : There are only 8 shrines you can not obtain. Some I was suprised I was able to do : all 4 shrines inside of the lost woods/korok forest can be done, very easily too. Random trivia : Vah Rudania is the only sacred beast that doesn't lock any shrines behind himself. . Sidequest-wise, you can't do (or even start) any of the picture-taking side quests (leviathan bones, shady customer, etc...) until you have the picture rune You CAN however do the entire Tarrey Quest line (thanks to the gerudo-son for being outside of her town), and all of the DLC quests very easily. Also of note : you can't light the ancient furnaces of the akala and hateno research labs until you meet with impa, and you can't even meet up with Robbie and his wife until you do (they won't be home) . Now for the hardest part... deciding which main quest "taboo" to break through first to get the rest of the stuff. [link] [comments] |

*Spoiler* PLEASE, the one thing I want more than anything in a DLC... Posted: 25 Jul 2017 07:31 AM PDT Is for an explanation of what in the world happened to the Triforce??? It has been a staple in every single Zelda game and yet in Botw, we get to see the Triforce of Wisdom when Zelda points it at Ganon, however the Triforce of Power and Courage are not even mentioned. Did they die with everything else 100 years ago? Is link already imbued with Courage and Ganon with Power and it just inst brought up??? We need answers! This was my favorite Zelda game, PERIOD, however to not mention something that has been so pivotal for so may years leaves me scratching my head... Would love to hear what is everyone's theory on why it didn't have more of a presence in the game? [link] [comments] |

Correct order of Divine Beasts Posted: 25 Jul 2017 08:41 AM PDT Anyone who has played Breath of the Wild knows that there is no order to doing anything in this game. I have had debates with my friends on which is the correct order of doing the divine beasts in this game though. Since I have played all other 3D Zelda games, I believe it should be "Medoh, Rudania, Ruta, Naboris". Like in Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask, the dungeons typically go in the order of "forest, mountains, lake/ocean, desert". Why would the ones in BotW be any different? It also seems to me that starting with Medoh, it is by far the easiest one, and the difficulty increases with the order I believe is true, which means Naboris is the hardest divine beast. BUT, other people believe the order is based off of the locations of the divine beasts on the map. Do you guys think there is a certain order in doing the divine beasts? [link] [comments] |

Posted: 25 Jul 2017 08:07 AM PDT I love how after I exhausted all my shrine quests I had to scan the map for empty areas to find new shrines. But the last one for me was right under my nose: The Undefeated Champion shrine quest, Raqa Zunzo Shrine. It was just outside of Gerudo Town! Anyone else completely miss an easy to find shrine that ended up being the final one they found/completed? [link] [comments] |
