For me,

Once I was old enough, I would learn how to use Magic, the Bow and dual wielding daggers/Short swords.

Once I was old enough to go out on my own, seek fortune and more knowledge & experience.

Would then get a house/castle built in the mountains away from civilization, and eventually create my own city.

Then go out and look for a vampire lord who is willing to turn me and go back to my city to rule for as long as Nirn was still available or until I piss off a Daedric Prince or Divine, while honing my skills and increasing my knowledge.

My city would be available to all races and refugee's as long as they follow my rules and the Death sentence for crimes against my kingdom would be them living in my dungeon and becoming my cattle, I would not hurt my loyal citizens.

Also would create a group of Monster hunters so any vampires, werewolves and the like, who threaten my land would be dealt with.

It would be Ironic for a Vampire Lord to create his own assassins but I would rather have the people of my city feel at ease knowing that I condone and not feel threaten for allowing hunters stay and train, as long as they can tell the difference between a good Monster and an evil one.

I would teach them that no matter what, there will always be monsters in the world and that it is better to befriend the ones that are good so they can assist with getting rid of the bad.

What would you do???
