Can we have an indicator saying how many people are at a raid?

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 12:00 PM PDT

Nothing is worse that losing a raid pass because you didn't see someone or showing up to a raid in the distance and no one is there.

Log in trouble?

Is anyone else having trouble logging in? The game froze and now I can't seem to get in!

[Discussion] RAID notification... please stop

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 11:46 AM PDT

Ya know it's one thing to have a notification when I log in, and it's another to remove my ability to move the field of view while the notifications roll in, but seriously, having to wait for 17 of them before I can catch this one Pokemon behind me I logged in for is just plain rude.

And what is the point of them? Are they telling about ones I can't see? No...

This has to go away, every gym has a Raid I get it, I can see them just fine if I can just scroll my screen!

So jealous of the Japanese players...just look all those Pikachu with a hat they would catch in Yokohama!

PANIC!

It's been 4 months since the Games Developer Conference and we haven't heard a word on this since.

The Pokemon Go subreddit has 420 more subscribers than the normal Pokemon subreddit. Coincidence? I think not

[Story] Today is my one-year PoGO anniversary. I celebrated by completing my Gen 1 regional pokedex.

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 07:51 PM PDT

When I started playing, it was to accompany my children as they hunted the wild Pokemon. Now, on my one year anniversary, I am just shy of Level 31 (5 levels ahead of the closest child), and on this very day, my Grimer found the last candy I needed to evolve Muk. It's quite an accomplishment for this 41 year old mom, with no prior Pokemon knowledge. It's been fun. :)

Re-submitted as first was removed due to rule 2.

Thought I was going crazy at first, but it's cheaper to just buy 100 coins than to buy bulk. Anyone else noticed? I haven't played in ages and just came back to find this... has it always been the case?

[Idea] Have a "waiting room" for players looking for others to help battle a raid boss

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 05:21 PM PDT

When you first click on a newly hatched raid boss at a gym few blocks away, there's no way to tell if there's any other players trying to battle the boss. Sometimes I would walk all the way to the distant gym and nobody is there. Other times I'm on lunch break from work and I see a Lapras or something waiting to be taken down, but I don't want to get there and nobody is there. If there was an option for a player(s) at a gym to enter a waiting room by pressing on a button when you first click on a gym, that would solve this irritating dilemma. You wouldn't have to use a raid pass to enter the waiting room, and once you enter the waiting room it will say how many other players are in the waiting room. Additionally if a player who is not already in the waiting room clicks on the gym, it will indicate how many players are already ready and waiting to battle the boss. This I think would benefit many players who don't have the time to walk around all day and make it easier for folks to join with others to take down tier 3 and 4 bosses, and hopefully tier 5 bosses soon! I posted a picture below of what it could look like. (I know the smileys look stupid, but I didn't know what else to use)

[Bug] Trainer cannot be defeated. Now blocking multiple gyms.

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 08:38 AM PDT

A single trainer has now made half of the gyms in my city useless. His Pokémon cannot be defeated, meaning there is no way to turn the gym over. The other trainers "behind" him are trapped as well. This happens in every gym this trainer is in. I have reported online and to George, but it has now been two weeks.

When the gym is at full motivation, you can battle the gym, and get every Pokémon down to the last battle. At the last battle, you can get his Pokémon to zero HP, but they do not faint. Time runs out, and he's still in the gym.

Here you see the Pokémon does not faint.

This gym has been blocked for 2 weeks:

He's in a lot of gyms

Once in awhile, he is kicked out of the gym. I do not know how. But then he's back in the same day, locking it off for a few days or more.

Anyone else experienced this? It has made the gym game unplayable.

[idea] If you could see other raiders approaching on the map

Posted: 14 Jul 2017 10:52 AM PDT

It would be a great feature if players could indicate their interest in a raid in the app, and once they do this, their avatar would appear on the map for others who are interested in the raid. Seeing the interested avatars approaching in-game would be great fun and would remove a lot of the confusion surrounding raid coordination.
