Weekly Role Discussion Thread: Support - July 22, 2017

Posted: 21 Jul 2017 10:07 PM PDT

In this weekly thread you can discuss the Support roles of Overwatch to your heart's delight. What are the characteristics of those heroes?

The objective of support is to heal, buff and provide utility. Support heroes boost the overall performance of their team by increasing their survivability, speed, and damage output. They are generally the worst duelists and are best when surrounded by teammates.

Overwatch Wikia

You can find a list of the current supportive heroes on the Overwatch Hero Overview.

Share guides and strategies that are valuable to a Support Overwatch Hero or other tips and tricks that helped you to get better. You can also propose ideas why a certain hero is bad in your eyes and how to make it better. Please do so in a constructive way!

Match history page

Posted: 22 Jul 2017 07:16 AM PDT

I just realized that we don't have a match history page. I don't see a reason why we don't have one either. I made a mockup on paint to see how it could look.

Blizzard, PLEASE fix the basketball hoops.

Posted: 22 Jul 2017 06:56 AM PDT

I understand you have more roadhog nerfs to hand out, but please.

Back in the day it used to be so easy to line up a shot. Ever since The fire nation attacked Sym was no longer able to place her turrets on basketballs, they haven't interacted with the hoops the same way. I've seen posts (and personally experienced) The ball literally going through the hoop - in the top, and out the bottom - and the buzzer doesn't go off. How will my team know I made the shot? How will we be able to celebrate the third consecutive shot and boost our morale?

Mind blowing Doomfist cosplay at SDCC

Posted: 22 Jul 2017 11:54 AM PDT

Doomfist has only been around for a few weeks, and these guys put this together in no time. Had a whole team moving with him touching up makeup and stuff too. Anybody know what team/group put this together? Absolutely incredible to stumble upon this at Comic Con. Still no Orisa love though haha.

Drew casual Tracer, tried to go for realism but it turned out kind of stylized.

Posted: 22 Jul 2017 09:00 AM PDT

I contacted a cosplayer and asked if I could draw her and she said yes. The reason I didn't draw Tracer in her regular outfit was because I tried and it turned out like this. :(

Also I did make a thread a while ago about drawing D.Va, but you can find that painting on my Instagram also.

Anyway here's the drawing, I hope you like it. https://www.instagram.com/p/BW2lZTElJMG/?taken-by=aevya
