I will be really happy when school is back in session so I stop getting paired with junior high kids flaming the whole team, shouting racial slurs, and insta locking mercy or mei to screw us over. Holy crap I dont know if diamond has to deal with this crap but im stuck in gold/silver.

tl;dr: the recent Doomfist comic teases the date of the next hero, and it's November 7.

The story

On page six of the new Doomfist comic, Akande (Doomfist) and Maximilien (red-eyed omnic) are having a tense strategic discussion that keeps being interrupted by Widowmaker playing a seemingly irrelevant game of craps right next to them. If you watch the animated version of the comic, the interruptions seem even more jarring. Especially given that they're in French, because Monaco.

In this interrupty French interlude, the dice are rolled twice: the first time they come up seven and the second time eleven, and each time the casino guy calls out the number. Then he says "next player!" (Thanks to hero /u/mozasahan for giving us the French translations.)

So in order, the casino guy says "seven," "eleven," "next player." In the US we specify dates as month-day, but most of the world uses day-month, thus making 7-11 indicate November 7 and not July 11.

Supporting evidence

Blizzcon is November 3-4, which would allow them to announce the hero there and then put it on the PTR on the following Tuesday, November 7.
All the heroes since launch have come out every 3-4 months: July 19 (Ana), November 15 (Sombra), March 21 (Orisa), July 27 (Doomfist). November 7 would play nicely with that schedule.
This explains how much attention the comic paid to the otherwise completely irrelevant and distracting French dialogue.

Counter evidence

Even though the casino guy says "eleven," the dice show two ones ("snake eyes"). In craps, that's two, not eleven. (source) (But maybe there's an implied roll before that that coincides with the guy saying "eleven"...?)

In conclusion, the hype train will be departing the station shortly. Choo.

Similar to Paladins, it would be great if we could see the actual damage values of weapons and abilities without having to open up a browser and consult with a community-driven wiki. It helps new players who may not know the ins and outs of their weapons and makes learning new heroes a lot easier.

For example, listing how much damage Meteor Strike does is far better than the current listing of:

Doomfist leaps into the sky, then crashes to the ground, dealing significant damage.

If it was changed to:

Doomfist leaps into the sky, and after a 1 sec cast, crashes to the ground, dealing 300 damage in a 7.5m radius.

This would be a lot more helpful, especially for someone like me who would love to get a better understanding of how the damage values work in the game.

With the doomfist release right around the corner, I am not at all anymore excited to jump back into this game. I have had overwatch since it's release. It is an amazing game, but I've had to take a break this season because of the dps instalock issue. I love being a flex player, but having to play support every match gets tiring. The fact that there are only 4 supports compared to the amount of dps characters is pretty ridiculous. Doomfist is only going to make this issue worse.

Here is my suggestion. Don't just add 1 healer and then go back to DPS. I would honestly say the next 2 heroes should be healers imo, and then at least another tank hero before you even think about adding another DPS or "defense" hero. Adding more supports won't necessarily make more people play support, but the ones that love support will go back to it.
