When DVa is dead, her ultimate charge should show the Self-Destruct percentage rather than Call-Mech

Posted: 23 Jul 2017 11:38 AM PDT

There's no point at all in it showing Call-Mechs percent since you're going to respawn in your mech anyway. You have to wait to respawn to tell your team how close you are to self-destruct

Protip: Sun Tzu figured out 26 centuries ago that high ground control was key to winning a fight. You can do it too.

Posted: 23 Jul 2017 03:05 PM PDT

Sun Tzu says, "When the enemy occupies high ground, do not confront him. If he attacks downhill. do not oppose him."
I feel that a lot of people can learn from the wise Mr. Tzu, even in Overwatch. Next time you want to run around as soldier, make sure to take the high ground detour first ;)

I don't know anything about Overwatch, but that Japan vs Australia match had me on the edge of my seat

Posted: 23 Jul 2017 04:31 AM PDT

Never played Overwatch before and this was the first time I watched a match. Didn't follow a lot of what was happening but I knew that it was super intense. Great performance by both Japan and Australia. I'm tempted to go and buy the game now.

I finally got one of those nice Orisa POTGs

If you get "disconnected" in comp during hero selection and able to rejoin before the countdown ends, you shouldn't be punished.

Posted: 23 Jul 2017 10:14 AM PDT

Got disconnected for no reason (internet is fine) and I was able to rejoin asap. Still lost 50 SR. Feelsbadman.jpg

TIL Symmetra's Photon Barriers will follow the topography of the map instead of travelling in a perfectly straight line, if fired along the floor

If your Internet is DCing you that much you are getting bigger penalties, You shouldn't be playing Competitive.

Posted: 23 Jul 2017 01:34 AM PDT

Just wanting to put this out here... If you never leave games and you are getting bigger & bigger penalties each time you DC due to Internet. You shouldn't be playing Competitive.

Not only is it bad for everyone else, But I would fix it before the new system kicks in and you get a Lifetime ban.

TL;DR: If you never leave games but you are getting bigger penalties each time you DC. Don't play Competitive.

Japan's World Cup team has entertained me to no end during this years world cup matches. If youre sick of seeing the same compositions for every pro or world cup match, then you guys need to watch Japans matches. Video link in the text.

If you watch pro matches or worldcup matches you see pretty much the same comp over and over and over again. Its honestly kind of boring and in my opinion the dive comp is probably the most boring to watch.

Typically you'll have 2 dps, 2 tanks, and 2 healers like but its mostly the same. Tracer, Genji or soldier, DVA, Winston, Zen, and Lucio.

Japan changes it up and they're REALLY fun to watch. They do use the ever so popular Dive comp but they also brought back the Nano Blade and Bey blade (Reaper). Japans DPS even uses Mcree and hes damn good at it too! You'll even see them use Zarya quite successfully which REALLY surprised me.

I can tell they're still a bit shaky on some maps and they dont have a lot of cohesion as some other pro teams but they're really really fun to watch!

Heres japans match against finland.

If you're Genji and deflect Ana's primary to an ally will it heal them?

Posted: 23 Jul 2017 09:50 AM PDT

I have no idea how this interaction works.
