Anyone else hate GTA Online & what it has done to GTA 5 SP mode?

I've been playing the GTA games since GTA 3, Vice City & San Andreas & never felt like I needed an online mode & also felt the same way for GTA 5. SP mode is/was great but I feel like Rockstar is leaving us SP mode players who dont want to pay for live out with all this Online crap & to make it worse they rub it in our faces every time in the loading screen. I think the only thing that could get me to play an online mode in any GTA game is if we had a forge/mod mode where we can create our own vehicles, weapons, outfits & possibly even our own maps & share them for free with an online community.

At least when the game first came out on PS3 & Xbox 360 they would occasionally throw us free DLC content our way like a new vehicle/s & weapons. Now I play SP mode on my PS4 (real bummer Sony charges for PSN now) I don't want to pay to play a game. Thats why I never really got into online games except for a few COD titles on PS3 where online is at least free to play. Who else feels the same way about GTA Online?

Downloads.

Any reason downloading this game causes the internet to stop working on all my other devices in the house? Whenever i start the download for this game the internet on every other device in my house stays connected but nothing loads, even though i can download literally anything else, and still have 3 videos streaming on various devices in full 1080p HD 60fps, without anything stopping, and without the download speed dropping.....any ideas?

What your strategy for crates and import export?

Crates I only do if someone is helping me. I sit in the office and call in 2 or 3 crate runs. Have by friend to get them.

I give him the ceo buzzard so he can spawn it quickly after he makes a delivery and I call Pegasus one for me when I exit to roof.

If its a single vehicle great and if its multiple I go out too.

3 crate runs work best in this case because I have him grab the first one, I grab one and deliver and head back to the office. He gets the last one about the same time I'm ready to buy the next round of crates.

As soon as he's done delivering he flies up high in the buzzard maybe lands on maze tower of he has to wait, that way he is ready to swoop down on the next job easily.

With multiple warehouses this keeps things moving quite nicely.

For import I try to be broke so repairs are free and then I don't sweat the little stuff and get cars home as fast as possible using the only high value cars method.

Haven't found a more efficient method than just driving then home. The cargo Bob is useless 😞

Anyone got good strategies to make it work better?

As the title says, is it really that easy to use it to importing cars to my garage and exporting it to destination, im also a solo pub session lover, so i need some confirmation. Or should i buy a supercar first? Like the new vagner for playing custom car races.

Is the online mode down atm?

Just reinstalled GTA5 and everytime I try to connect to GTA online it tells me Rockstars game services are unavailable right now and then tells me its having trouble syncing important catalogue data with the servers.

Anyone else ran into this issue? Never had problems connecting before.
