| Swords of Sanghelios is up there with the best Halo missions Posted: 24 Jun 2017 06:35 AM PDT If there is only one single thing I remember of Halo 5's campaign, it's this level. The beauty of Sanghelios is so well done, the level is so wide and has so much verticality. I've never felt so much freedom in tight halo encounters before. | Battle of Sunaion should've been non-linear mission like Silent Cartographer Posted: 24 Jun 2017 09:23 AM PDT Basically, you are dropped into Sunaion, in this really open level and you get to explore the city in any way you want and clear certain objectives in each area. Something like the Silent Cartographer, it also has a similar opening. I thought it was a wasted opportunity as the level ended up being really linear instead. We haven't seen many non-linear missions in Halo. I think Halo and SC in Halo: CE, Mombasa Streets in ODST and Lone Wolf in Reach are the only ones. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 24 Jun 2017 03:46 PM PDT After watching a review of Halo: Envoy, I realized how much I desire Halo to focus on the post war atmosphere of the galaxy. I mean, let's NOT jump to God-Queen Cortana this fast. Let's take some time, build up the strain of the elites and humans trying to get along. What kind of shady stuff is ONI up to nowadays? Let's get some black ops missions! Stealth! Political assassinations! Obviously just dreaming over here but wouldn't it be nice to just focus on the storm covenant, the banished, and the pst war landscape instead of trying to out do the original trilogy with less effective, boring cliche storylines? Halo 2 is the only campaign I didn't get to play first hand, and Jesus Christ it took me an hour plus to trudge through the first mission and I had to turn on the bandana skull.
