Posted: 04 Jun 2017 01:17 PM PDT The rifts at Gillscale Pond, Auris Weirdbringer, the rift stabilizers, all of that happened on October 4, 2016. Today, 8 months later we still don't know more about it. The latest current events were released in February (and dealt with a special sword). Last year they had an update schedule of 2 weeks which filled the time between the episodes. Why did they have to go? [link] [comments]  | ||

| PvP Tournament EU/NA UGO 1 weeks time! Posted: 04 Jun 2017 12:47 PM PDT Welcome, We are 1 week away from the EU Tournament and 2 weeks from the NA! You can still enter both, so get signing up!
Here is an update on the prize pool which will be going up in the coming weeks thanks to further donations. Most of the funding will be occurring during the streams which will be announced soon.

PLS NOTE: These are community donations, a majority of funding will be during the stream. Its AMAZING how much support we have already had.

The tournament hasnt even started and we have nice figures for both! A lot of donations occur during the stream but this is really amazing support thus far! Unity Gaming Org is launching its first Guild Wars 2 NA & EU 5v5 Monthly Tournaments this June. The aim is to provide a monthly avenue for players to compete for cash prizes. We are working in partnership with matcherino.com. This is a crowd funding website which gives the community a chance to donate directly to the prize pool fund.

| 2nd Weekly Giant Slayer Event Followup Posted: 04 Jun 2017 04:29 PM PDT Evening everyone, Our second Giantslayer Event in Brisban went off without a hitch. I net 45-50 giant kills in the 1hr30min timespan. I streamed the entire thing and will link the VoD here. We had at most 30 players show up and averaged 25, which meant we got roughly 5 giants to spawn each time. It seems like everyone had a good time. This time we asked everyone to take their armor off and use weapon AoEs only to increase the number of hit chances. We also had some shenanigans in-between with nude water balloons and bobble-heads involved. I will post again when we have our next event. Some people were interested in twice a week. If I see enough requests I may do this again this Saturday. Up to you guys. Let me know what you think. However sometimes people spot banners on WvW maps lasting over days or even an entire week. Does anyone have a clue how is this a thing? Posted: 04 Jun 2017 12:05 PM PDT So apparently next Elite Spec for Guardian will have axe, as far as I know and Warhorn still feels too far. While having Torch (burning Heretics!), Shield (Block for days!) and Focus (Healing and protecting) makes sense, I would love to have a Guardian with Warhorn as a "commander" look. | Best and worst player voice clips Posted: 04 Jun 2017 03:33 AM PDT It's easy to tell bad NPC voice clips for instance (like those so many coughing asura in Thaumanova Reactor), but what about the player character? What do you think are the good and bad ones? I don't know how to trigger it, but I really love the male charr's "WAHOO!" cry. It feels random but I always thought it's a clip he yells when attacking first, at least that's how I trigger mine. But man the most annoying is the female sylvari's cripple cry. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHH!" It's far long and sounds more like a death cry than a simple cripple cry. [link] [comments]  | ||
