I watched rhykkers stream and I was just so underwhelmed by what challenge rifts are and have to offer. Seems like an attempt to keep people occupied not making actual progression on their characters by using other people's situations so to speak. This won't stop the people who leave after playing 2 weeks of the season from leaving. This won't appeal to competitive players in the greater rift leaderboards because you get 0 xp and barely any rewards. This is a total flop but go ahead and surprise me diablo subreddit and tell me how you think this will go down on release day. I'm curious to hear what our mix of casuals and semi competitive and competitive players have to say about it all [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 03 Jun 2017 05:53 AM PDT Played almost 500 hours since completing a solo GR70 and I'm being really skeptical about not completing or missing something. Hear a lot of people not getting any primals, maybe there is a bug that doesnt open your primal drop chance? A notification saying that you have indeed gained the chance would be really aweosome. | Posted: 03 Jun 2017 08:20 AM PDT https://www.polygon.com/2016/7/1/12083496/unannounced-diablo-4-blizzard-hiring-new-game-director If it was not the necro what could it be? i listed 5 optiosn from most likely to more unlikely to happen in my opinion: -Diablo 2 HD? after the recent SC HD maybe this is the most logical one -New D3 expansion, in case they want to extend the diablo 3 game further more, seems coherent since they are adding the necro soon. -Whole new game D4, its been 5 years already since D3, a decent ammount of time to release a sequel, not very likely because it would be dumb to release necro and right after that release a new game. -Diablo focused mobile game, who knows! after nintendo made it with pokemon go and others every big gaming company seems to have the urge to release mobile games for more cash -Diablo MMO, haha! | Is it possible to simulate mouse clicks in Diablo 1 with python? Posted: 03 Jun 2017 04:43 PM PDT So I'm trying to create an screenreading bot for Diablo 1 but I'm running into some difficulties. I'd go to /r/learnpython but the problem is very specific to diablo itself because of the age of the game. I've managed to classify pretty much every enemy on the first floor with templating with openCV and I can find all their X and Y locations...now the difficult part is actually attacking them. I need to be able to click on them by focusing on the window somehow... I have no idea how though to be honest. This game is so goddamn old I don't even know if it's possible to send fake mouse clicks to the window. [link] [comments]  | ||

| Diablo 4 Story Concept: What happens after ROS Posted: 03 Jun 2017 12:25 PM PDT This is how I would like see the story develop if there was a sequel. To begin, 10 years have past since Mathael was defeated. The nephalem are hunting down baddies and doing there thing. You play as a normal human follower of the nephalem, like the Templar, Enchantress, and Scoundrel are in D3. In Diablo 4, I feel that there should be a somewhat real sense of fear. Instead of being a guns blazing all powerful nephalem, you are a simple human. Demons and other monsters are more dangerous for you to kill. As the nephalem take on large foes you chill on the side lines and kill the lesser demons. Things can sometimes go south for you, as rubble and other things can separate you from the nephalem and force you to venture alone. In this kind of scenario I would like to see a D1 where vision is limited, spooky music, and sound of snickering demons trying to sneak up on you. At the end of D3, there was a lot of foreshadowing of Inarius coming back (From books in Pandemonium Fortress) and some weird stuff happening on the Skovos Isles, home of the Amazons (Tyrael in base). All good games need to arc halfway through the game. My idea of doing this is by having Inarius be freed and corrupted like Izual. He would be the one in Skovos killing horadrums and destroying the Amazon capital. You would fight him, before he was defeated he would throw the nephalem into the Void like he did with his lady-friend Lilith. All the while killing Tyrael at the same time because everyone knows that was gonna happen at some point because he decided he wanted to be mortal. At this point you have to lead as many humans as you can into the portal to Pandemonium as demons destroy Sanctuary. Where you take refuge in a ancient abandoned Pandamonium temple. You become humanity's only hope for survival, yet your nothing but a human with some magical gear and spells. As the story progresses Auriel seeks you out, telling you that Inarius is reeking havoc in heavan and needs to be stopped. She tells you the only way to defeat evil is to free the nephalem. You have to seek out some artifact in Pandemonium that can let you travel into the void. You find it and go in, and as you travel into the void your character starts getting weird powers, void powers if you will. You find the nephalem, and you find Lilith, whose pissed off at Inarius and tries to steal the artifact from you. She ends up breaking it in the process. You find out that the artifact as created out of a world stone, and you use it to travel back to Pandemonium. With the nephalem and Lilith you decide to create a new world for humanity. But before you do that you got to lead an assault on Heaven and Hell and make sure nobody fucks with humanity again. Don't really know how to go about the rest but I feel like this would be epic. I am aware that the characters wouldn't as their stored locally to the playstation but let's say I got 4 separate characters to lvl 70 on his playstation and then the last 2 on mine...
