Here's my quick ideas:

Bane of the Powerful

  • Gain 20% increased damage for 30.0 seconds after killing an elite pack.

  • Gain 15% increased damage versus elites and take 15% reduced damage from elites. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Gain 20% increased chance to encounter elite packs (Requires Rank 50) (Multiple players using this gem would collectively increase elite spawn rate further.)

Bane of the Stricken

  • Each attack you make against an enemy increases the damage it takes from your attacks by 0.80%.

  • Gain 25% increased damage against bosses and Rift Guardians. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Deal increased damage to enemies equal to their remaining % HP. (Requires Rank 50) (I.e. you do 100% extra damage to an enemy at 100% HP, an enemy with 10% HP remaining takes 10% extra damage from you. You gain a damage boost to start which falls off as stricken stacks increase and take over.)

Bane of the Trapped

  • Increase damage against enemies under the effects of control-impairing effects by 15.00%.

  • Gain an aura that reduces the movement speed of enemies within 15 yards by 30%. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Decrease damage you take from enemies under the effects of control impairing effects by 15% (Requires Rank 50)

Boon of the Hoarder

  • 25.0% chance on killing an enemy to cause an explosion of gold.

  • Gain 30% increased movement speed for 2 seconds after picking up gold. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Increases pickup radius and gold find by 100%. (Requires Rank 50)

Boyarsky's Chip

  • Adds 16,000 Thorns.

  • Taunt the first enemy hit by your Primary skills for 2 seconds. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Enemies affected by your thorns also bleed for the same amount over 5 seconds. (Requires Rank 50)

Enforcer

  • Increase the damage of your pets by 15.00%.

  • Your pets take 90% less damage. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Your pets now benefit from your attack speed bonuses. (Requires Rank 50)

Esoteric Alteration

  • Gain 10.0% non-Physical damage reduction.

  • While below half Life, your resistances to Cold, Fire, Lightning, Poison, and Arcane are increased by 75%. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Taking fatal damage instead restores you to 50% life. This gem loses 1 rank (max once per 60 seconds). (Requires Rank 50)

Gem of Ease

  • Monster kills grant +500 experience.

  • Level Requirement Set to 1. (Requires Rank 25)

  • This gem may now be inserted multiple times into any empty socket on any item. (Requires Rank 50)

Gem of Efficacious Toxin

  • Poison all enemies hit for 2000% weapon damage over 10 seconds.

  • All enemies you poison take 10% increased damage from all sources and deal 10% less damage.

  • Enemies killed while poisoned have 25% extra chance to drop a health globe. (Requires Rank 50)

Gogok of Swiftness

  • Gain Swiftness with every attack, increasing your Attack Speed by 1% and Dodge by 0.50% for 4 seconds. This effect stacks up to 15 times.

  • Gain 1% Cooldown Reduction per stack of Swiftness. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Gain 1% life regeneration per stack of Swiftness. (Requires Rank 50)

Iceblink

  • Your Cold skills now apply Chill effects and your Chill effects now Slow enemy movement speed by an additional 5.0%.

  • Enemies you Chill have a 10% increased chance to be Critically Hit. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Enemies you Chill take 100% extra Critical Hit damage. (Requires Rank 50)

Invigorating Gemstone

  • Each hit done increases healing received by 1.00% for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 10 times.

  • You are immune to control impairing effects. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Each stack increases your maximum life by 5%. (Requires Rank 50) (Would perhaps make this gem viable for once, espeically for the upcoming necromancer who will spend HP to boost attacks)

Mirinae, Teardrop of the Starweaver

  • 15% chance on hit to smite a nearby enemy for 3000% weapon damage as Holy and heal yourself for 3% of your maximum life.

  • Smite a nearby enemy every 3 seconds. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Smites now damage all enemies around the targeted enemy. (Requires Rank 50)

Molten Wildebeest's Gizzard

  • Regenerates 10,000 Life per Second.

  • After not taking damage for 4 seconds, gain an absorb shield for 200% of your total Life per Second. (Requires Rank 25)

  • While your absorb shield is active, increases your resource regeneration (Requires Rank 50) (Resource regenerated would equal that from the Templar's "Inspire" skill's regeneration)

Moratorium

  • 35% of all damage taken is instead staggered and dealt to you over 3.00 seconds.

  • 20% chance on kill to clear all staggered damage. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Clearing all staggered damage instead returns that damage to nearby enemies. (Requires Rank 50)

Mutilation Guard

  • Gain 10.0% melee damage reduction.

  • While below 50% Life, you may move unhindered through enemies. (Requires Rank 25)

  • While below 25% life, nearby enemies are knocked back as you move. (Requires Rank 50) (Similar to the barbarian's ignore pain - Bravado rune)

Pain Enhancer

  • Critical hits cause the enemy to bleed for 2,500.0% weapon damage as Physical over 3 seconds.

  • Gain Blood Frenzy, granting you 3% increased Attack Speed for each bleeding enemy within 20 yards. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Each bleeding enemy within 20 yards increases your critical hit chance by 0.5%. (Requires Rank 50)

Red Soulstone Shard

  • Periodically struggle for control, unleashing a ring of Fire that inflicts 12,500% weapon damage to enemies it passes through.

  • After gaining a level, your resource costs are removed and cooldowns on skills are reduced by 75% for 30 seconds. (Requires Rank 25)

  • ... yeah I got nothing :p (Requires Rank 50)

Simplicity's Strength

  • Increase the damage of primary skills by 25.00%.

  • Primary skills heal you for 4% of maximum Life on hit. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Increase the attack speed and resource generation of primary skills by 15% (Requires Rank 50)

Taeguk

  • Gain 2.00% increased damage for 1.5 seconds when you spend resource on a channeled skill. This effect stacks up to 10 times.

  • Gain 2.0% increased Armor for every stack. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Gain 2.0% increased attack speed per stack. (Requires Rank 50)

Wreath of Lightning

  • 15% chance on hit to gain a Wreath of Lightning, dealing 1,200.0% weapon damage as Lightning every second to nearby enemies for 3 seconds.

  • While under the effect of the Wreath of Lightning, gain 25% increased movement speed. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Enemies you hit with lightning are stunned for 1 second. (Requires Rank 50)

Zei's Stone of Vengeance

  • Damage you deal is increased by 4.00% for every 10 yards between you and the enemy hit. Maximum 20.00% increase at 50 yards.

  • 20% chance on hit to Stun the enemy for 1 second. (Requires Rank 25)

  • Zei's damage bonus is applied again to stunned enemies. (Requires Rank 50)

The Necromancer class has been once more taken down from the Closed Beta. We're digging deep into all of your feedback this past week about the class sets and getting more changes ready for the next Closed Beta patch.

In the mean time, we recommend you take a shot at the latest Challenge Rift, explore the new zones (if you haven't already), and hang tight for our next update.

As a reminder, if you use the PTR Character Copy at this point, you will lose all your current progress on your existing Necromancer and need to start from scratch once the class is available again for testing. Please keep this in mind!

I would love to be able to see how much damage I & the rest of my party did in a rift. How much somebody healed. How much mobs we killed. Etc. It's just fun to see, and makes for good "I did more damage than you in that rift!"-banter.

Hammerdin question

Hi all,

I recently got most of the gear for a hammerdin (still hoping for a unity to Kanai's so I can survive affixes qq) but I'm starting to question my build. Before I had the belt drop (casts Justice at Falling Sword target) I was using a witching hour instead (with the falling sword lightning stun rune instead of cooldown reduction) and I felt that my damage throughput was significantly better with WH, while my survivability was about the same.

Am I completely imagining this or is there some validity to this thought?

QoL - I have no idea how many "*" is. Please consider fixing the enchanting menu.

I think almost everyone can agree that being told you have "*" DBs left isn't very helpful. There's a lot of wasted space in enchanting menu so why not utilize it for displaying more digits.

While all crafting menus suffer from this limitation, the enchanting menu is particularly aggravating since it's about the only menu showing mats that you may have in the thousands. I suppose sacrificing a little consistency to give an otherwise 98%-useless UI some actual use wouldn't be too out of order.

Help-a-Barb

Hello, after some continued lurking and searching around I've got a few questions that hopefully are well received concerning my barbarian. I'm new to Diablo again after playing D2 for weeks and months of my life I'm now on D3.... anyways

My barb is paragon 150 or so, only does about 450k damage (while buffed) and I'm trying to save up some gear to probably make him a WW barb. I've got a question on one of the Wrath of the Wastes gear bonuses.... it says that Rends deal extra dmg while channeling WW, but how is that possible since they are both secondary skills? V confused. Also would really appreciate any adds/advice concerning making a solid build and enjoying my barb. I'm not overly concerned with climbing the latter, but it would be nice to know how to construct a barb that can hold his own. :) any and all help is greatly appreciated... if wish to add plz pm me would love to rift or bounty any time thx

Need help with DH Chains of Torment build

Chains of Torment is by far my favorite DH ability, so the idea is to make a build that lets them shine. So, obviously, Bombadier's Rucksack and Marauder4 are necessary. Also, since Sentry doesn't require a bow, Shadow2 is a good source of damage. Ideally, I'd M6 + S4, but the sets don't line up(I've been spoiled by Tal Rasha). So, I'm probably looking at either M4S2 or M4S4 with rorg. The Ess of Johan is also a necessary piece of the puzzle, because I need enemies to be standing in my chains to take damage. As for passives, Custom Engineering is a no-brainer, and Thrill of the Hunt and Cull the Weak work great together and help keep enemies inside the zone of death. The rest of the gear slots and skills are open for shoring up weaknesses in the build and piling on the damage.

The weaknesses in the build are ranged enemies, Sentry cooldown, and Hatred management. TEoJ helps with ranged enemies a bit, unless there are zero melee enemies. So, to handle situations where there are zero melee enemies and to help with Hatred, I've been using Impale(Ricochet) and Karlei's Point. As long as there are two enemies close enough together, I have infinite Hatred, so that works pretty well. Once I get gear nailed down a bit more, I'll start enchanting for CDR.

Any thoughts, suggestions or ideas for improving the build's performance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time

Does loot get better the higher the Greater Rift you do?

Question about Kanai's Cube

My question is, will the already acquired passive powers transfer when season ends? Or will I have to farm the items again. Thank you!

Just reached GR 85 solo monk; will this enable me to be in the leaderboards until the end of the season?

Haven't had any time really in the past 9 seasons to commit to a leaderboard position. I finally achieved it now and thus my season 10 goal.

If I stop now, will it stick till the end? Grinding for augments and paragons as well as T13 bounties to eke out minimal stat rolls is my only way to progress now. It's not exactly fun and no one seems to be on lately and is willing to play with my Zmonk.

put more hatred spenders on UE for DH

why isn't cluster arrow, rapid fire, and elemental arrow not on the UE set ? that just doesn't make any sense. we need more options with skills for UE in order to create more build diversity with the set. we shouldn't have to play with sentry's if we want to play with other skills besides multishot that doesn't manke any sense.
