Where would Melee be if Brawl was like PM?

So here's a hypothetical I've had on my mind for a bit. Where would Melee be if when Brawl was released, it was basically what PM is (Not necessarily the exact same, but basically Brawl roster/graphics with a lot of Melee tech)

Melee is stronger than ever before, and at this point we'd probably ignore any new release of a Smash game, but when Brawl came out in 2008, the Melee community did basically die to "move on" to Brawl, but most people just ended up quitting as the game was not to the community's taste. We eventually got PM which was particularly big around 2013-14 with the release of 3.0, but Melee players mostly stuck with Melee still. However, what if Brawl played like PM? Not saying PM is the same as Melee at all, but it was closer to Melee, and the transition between games would be more like other FGs, pretty much all of which do move from game to game with each new entry, even if they think the previous one was better.

If Brawl was more like PM I have to wonder if the community that moved from Melee to Brawl would have quit Brawl and go back to Melee the way they did. I personally like Melee more than PM, but I like PM a lot and a lot of Melee players do like the game too, much more than they enjoy Brawl, so I could imagine people just moving on like most FGs

What are the worst *meta relevant* matchups in the game?

There's been discussion before about the worst matchups in the whole game, with matchups like Bayo vs Ganon, but what are the hardest counters to characters that appear with semi-frequency later in bracket? Matchups such as Metaknight vs Rosa/Peach, or Rosa vs Ness.

Also, what is the best example of a lower tier character having a winning matchup vs a higher tier?

Now let's get to notes!

Notes:

  • All Mii placements that are not denoted by "1111" correspond to 2111. This will remain for the rest of the series.

  • There are a couple of placements that couldn't be fit into the list, so I'll tell you where they would've ended up:

    • Straight Lunge would've been between Warlock Punch and Clown Cannon at the top of E tier.
    • KO Punch would've been one space above Aura Sphere at the top of A tier (so close to S...).
    • Exploding Side Kick (Brawler 3111) would've been one space above Blade Flurry (Swordfighter 3111), which was also not ranked.
    • Grenade Launcher (Gunner 3111) would've been one space below Egg Lay.

  • For Little Mac, I took the average of his Straight Lunge score and KO Punch score and ranked him according to that.

  • No ties!

  • More E tiers than ever before.

  • No F tiers!

  • Olimar was impossible to rank.

My Thoughts:

  • I might be biased because I main the character, but I honestly think Yoshi is a bit too low.
  • Low tier bias persists (Wii Fit specifically)
  • Ike is a little low.
  • ZSS is a bit too high.
  • Gunner 1111 is way too low.
  • Kirby is a bit too low.
  • IMO pretty bad list.

Extra Extra!:

Sorry I wasn't exactly up to date to post links to assist all of your endeavours to vote. I promise for this next poll/discussion that every character I can find extra tech for will be included.

On top of this, an idea came to mind. Why not do a fun poll ranking Kirby's copy abilities? It could also take combos he has into consideration, so ranking in a vacuum would be utterly pointless. It will also not be included in the final results unless you'd like me to (average his normal Inhale alongside his copy abilities to come with a final verdict).
