Looks cool. I'm a big tabletop gamer too so this is exciting. Thoughts?

Would anyone else want a civilization-styled fallout game?

It would work where you select a faction or start one and slowly rebuild America over time.

I recreated a Lego build in Fallout 4.

What do you think we'll get for Fallout's 20th?

Posted: 25 Apr 2017 08:45 AM PDT

I reckon a FO3 remaster. If not that, maybe a remaster of one of the first 2 games?

A man can dream.

What is your favorite piece of Fallout Trivia whether its something odd, not well known mechanics, or just random things about the game or its universe?

Fallout in D&D 5e

Posted: 25 Apr 2017 08:17 AM PDT

Just yesterday I learned about the announced Fallout Minis Game. It was a bittersweet announcement for me because I have a feeling that it is a short step away from a Tabletop RPG game.

Personally, I have been working on creating a System Reference Document for the homebrewed Fallout setting I made for 5e. It's currently in beta testing with a couple of my friends groups, and the document still needs copy editing, reformatting, and polishing. But, if Modiphius is going to beat me to the punch, I might as well ship it now.

You can find the latest PDF of my SRD at http://parpg.ddns.net

I update the document every weekend with updates and additions that my playtest group finds necessary.

Feel free to use it, comment on it, suggest patch changes, share it, whatever.

Credit where credit is due, I drew a lot of inspiration from Exodus RPG and Josh Sawyer's PnP RPG. And thanks to the Genius Inc for their Monster Statblock Generator.

Who are the most powerful individuals in the history of Fallout?

A problem with some of the textures in Fallout 4.

Posted: 25 Apr 2017 11:34 AM PDT

Sometimes after playing a game for about an hour straight, I eventually encounter this texture glitch. Restarting the game eliminates the bug, but only for another hour or two. As you can see, not all textures are bugged.

It has bothered me for about a year now, but I'm only wrighting about this right now for some reason.

Are FO1/2 still Interplay intellectual property?

Posted: 25 Apr 2017 03:38 PM PDT

If so, surprised they haven't thought of 'remastering' the games in 3D for the 20th anniversary.

Rather disappointed in Fallout 4 overall. Can you recommend some mods to improve it?

Posted: 25 Apr 2017 02:24 PM PDT

I played fallout 4 when it came out, got all the way to the "end" where you learn the big twist about the Institute and realized ... the twist was nice but i don't give a damn about a single one of the factions.

The Minutemen where the only ones that i even remotely cared for. I had more fun randomly exploring the game then i did with anything else.

I also hated how Power Armor was done, to the point that i eventually just ignored it completely. As well the only decent armor i could get that didn't leave me in my underwear was the Silver something set.

Overall it wasn't the game i was wanting.

I'm willing to give it another try but i tried the other night but grew really bored. Any mods you'd suggest to make it more fun/interesting? I don't want anything game breaking/bizarre just something ...

Fallout sometimes scares me shitless

Posted: 24 Apr 2017 06:42 PM PDT

I just played one of the Railroad quests, where a fucking Deathclaw pops out of nowhere. It seriously spooked the fuck out of me.

Reminds me of getting Ratslayer in NV at a low level; Giant Rats shouldn't be that fast and that strong. I remember I had a shotgun that can go up against them, but they had a small clip.

The rats just fucking swarmed me and climbed on top of one another, clearing like 10 meters in one second before they leapt with those fucking faces...

I jumped everytime I saw one. The only reason I made it out with Ratslayer was because I dumped points in Sneak.

The Pitt ending decision...

Posted: 25 Apr 2017 05:23 AM PDT

Is this the morally hardest decision in the game?

I mean you either keep people enslaved to rebuild the Pitt, save a child and potentially have no cure.

That or you kidnap the child, give it to that asshole, maybe have a cure, set the slaves free, then after that the Pitt is... well still a shithole but now its run by slaves?

[spoilers] How do you come up with a character, and how do you find the dialogue options?

Posted: 25 Apr 2017 05:27 AM PDT

For example I got frustrated in fallout 4 being forced into the doting parent role, even if i barely touched the main missions and used a bunch of chems
