Right so lets get something out of the way quickly: I am in no way saying that what happened on my stream today is acceptable. It is entirely unacceptable to have a game that is being viewed by 48k people at its highest point to have a shitty quality stream with audio problems alongside other casting problems. I take full responsibiltiy and will probably not cover the rest of the IEM katowice qualifiers because of it.

Here's my excuses:

1) Quality of stream. Bitrate was down to 2k from my normal 3k (not stellar bitrate, but its good enough to have a good 720p30FPS stream). It was down due to a massive storm I suddenly had come up in my area that messed with it a LOT

2) Quality of audio with a humming microphone: I honestly just don't know how to fix that. Inexcusable? Yes. I have a decent mic (blue yeti which is supposed to be decent) but unfortunately I guess I haven't optimized it

3) Quality of casting: Honestly, I@m better than that. I just felt like I needed a cocaster for games of this size and since couldn't get anyone else I picked up someone who I casted DOTA with a few months back a few times and we had good synergy. I'm not blaming him at all, we just hadn't casted CSGO together and despite me thinking we could transition in together easily we couldn't. That threw me off massively.

4) Casting excuse two: I'm literally just coming back after a 2-3 month hiatus. SHould I be casting G2 vs Fnatic? Probably not, but most the other ESL Group english casters were unavailable and I would be stupid not to avail the opportunity.

I understand that at the end its inexcusable and I apologise. I just wanted to throw out my reasoning behind the shitty stream today. Thank you for bearing with me

Just watch this guy's quality. Its insane. A home setup destroys the quality of any major or any LAN event.

The guy is only streaming at 720p60fps with an insanely high bitrate which makes it look great. The colors look insane as-well.

Firstly no I am not one of those - anders - semmler people, I think the quality of top tier casting is amazing but Metuz I mean I think its time we got this guy to more tier1 lan events this year. if you havn't heard of him check him out some of his casts, he slogged out solo casting ESL pro league last year, casted at Malmo and we need more of it.

As much as I love the top 3 caster pairs i.e White james and Black Dan, Hank G and Sado and Sem Sem with Anders it would be nice to have a good variety at top tier events and I feel metuz is one of the best casters currently not doing top tier events. Seeing him with Launders / Pansy / Spunj / Moses has always been great, of course not all pairs are available and I'm not sure who he likes working with but we need him. And its not just me who agrees with the quality, most of you might of seen RLewis, Thooorin (hes right for once) and the Don posting on twitter about how good his casting is (as well as the On Fire Crew) and I know the community agrees mostly so please can we get him to some tier 1 events. P.S tier 1 not ESL pro league B stream solo doing casting and observing at the same time.

Edit - No I am no metuz, I just don't login to reddit I always check it tho and this is all I could think of for the topic I didnt see discussed about range of talent. Also metuz stole my name and made it backwards - HLTV confirmed (Per sources)
