I am curious whether or not people are getting any rewards from endless. I like the addition of getting vault dosh at the end of survival but if you play for 2 hours of endless and leave you get nothing from what I have noticed. Am I the only one who has noticed this or is this common getting no rewards.

Husk Cannon Bug

After the recent Onslaught update for KF2, I have noticed that at least once a game when I am using the Husk Cannon it does not fire any projectiles but still consumes ammo. There have been times where I've been backpedalling away from some zeds and firing at them with the Cannon but it never seems to fire anything.

I think it's somehow tied to Zed time as this bug usually occurs right after and continues until I reload the weapon manually.

Anyone else having this problem? Thanks :)

Returning player, played a bunch on release, enough to get Support, Zerk and Field Medic to 25 and then stopped playing after I it got a bit stale (content was sorely lacking back then).

Didn't play for god knows how long, recently re-installed after hearing about Endless mode (and DAR!), I had seen the Patriarch in a couple of videos but never fought him so I was really hoping to see Patty instead of Hans when I got to the bosswave.

Instead, I was greeted with King Fleshpound. Okay? It's... it's a fleshpound? Well maybe it has some cool new moves, I'll wait and see.

All it did was run at me like a normal Fleshpound, got a random shield at some HP threshhold, and kept running at me until I kited it to death. Apparently he's supposed to shoot lasers or something at some point too, but it never did for me. I played on Suicidal, so idk if it's some HoE-only thing, but I was thoroughly disappointed.

Then next match, I was once again hoping to see the Patriarch, and instead got Abomination. And I honestly don't know which one was lamer - all the Abomination also seemed to do was slowly lumber towards me while occasionally accelerating to maximum over-diarrhea to spawn even more of his turd monsters. This fight, also, was only a dreadful kitefest with nothing interesting going for it.

So I guess the point of this thread is - I would really like to see these bosses reworked into actual bosses. And I really hope I don't have to see any more of these overgrown, glorified normal zeds as bosses in the future. Hans and Patty (I got to fight him eventually) are both cool, King FP and Abomination are boring and uninteresting to fight.

Endless scrakes only. The problem isn't the difficulty, it's length and time.

There's two problems. One - it takes too long. I played 3 man team, 1 gs 1 medic and the last was filler (firebug). We did fine, killing 60 scrakes but the issue wasn't how hard it is. It was -time-. We were getting worn out and tired. Keep in mind endless is pretty tiring already, there's no breaks and we were going for 70 minutes already. I don't mind that there's no breaks - people has been asking for Endless so I don't mind that there is no "Breaks" but fuck me if you've been playing for a while and then get scrake only you know you're in it for the long haul.

Two - It enforces "meta builds". The thing I always found fun in KF2 is that most shit is viable. Sure you get the more efficent builds like medic and zerg or whatever you want, but atleast you can use whatever you want and still win on HoE or Suicidal. But this shit - if you want to win quickly, you need a sharpshooter, or zergs or whatever. It's just not fun. Besides, there is no annoucement before this happens.

Solutions: Tone down the scrakes to 20-30 spawns. This will keep the difficulity in killing them high and yet won't take too long.

Or

Lower their health to something ridiculously low like 300 or 500 hp or whatever.

This will keep the franatic 100 scrakes but atleast they'd be easy to kill, however it would elinmate much of the difficulity.

What difficulty has the most players?

I set up a server, and on normal difficulty the server fills up immediately, but when the difficulty is suicidal it never gets touched. Hard fills it up about as quickly as normal. I have yet to try Hell on Earth.

Berserker: Harpoon Gun. Would be a T4 weapon, available for 1500 dosh, 10 units. An alternative to the eviscerator, the Harpoon Gun is somewhat of a major upgrade to the VLAD, firing large harpoons at a much higher velocity with much more damage. The harpoons have considerable penetration against weaker zeds, and somewhat crossbow level power against bigger zeds. The ammo is sometimes retrievable, but the relative ammo pool is only 20 harpoons.

Commando: FN FAL. A T3 weapon costing 1100 dosh, the FAL is a bit like a T3 SCAR statistically. The only advantage the FAL has over the SCAR is that it would have a mounted bayonet, doing more bash damage than other weapons. Otherwise it's statistically weaker than the SCAR. Can be cross-perked with the Sharpshooter.

Support: Taurus Raging Judge: A T2 weapon costing 750 dosh, the Judge is a somewhat lightweight addition to the support's arsenal as it only weighs 4 units. The .410 shells don't do much damage, but have good stumble power against Zeds, making it quite useful in a tight situation. It also has a narrower spread, making it more suited to engaging individuals rather than groups.

Field Medic (Aside from buffing the current SMG (& Hemogoblin): Blower Thrower. A T4 weapon costing 1500 dosh and weighing 8 units, a classic weapon returns from KF1 to make the medic have a reliable AoE weapon. It functions similar to how it did in KF1, doing decent AoE damage to small zeds and frenzying them, but the alt fire functions like a medic grenade gas, with the only tradeoffs being the long delay between recharges as well as a comparatively short magazine capacity/reserve ammo.

Demolitionist: M32: Another KF1 classic, costing 1500 dosh and weighing 8 units. The M32 is a T4 weapon competing alongside the Seeker Six. Whilst it wouldn't be as powerful as the M79, the M32 has more firepower on tap than other weapons in the demo's arsenal. Using the alt fire, you can cycle between 3 different Grenade types; HE, Cluster and Incendiary. This allows the demo to engage lots of different targets, however the ammo for each weapon is limited to 24 grenades, giving the weapon an overall capacity of 72 shots. However, it does less direct damage than the S6 but has a much larger AoE, especially with cluster rounds.

Sharpshooter: Lee-Enfield Mk4 No.1. A World War II weapon, The Enfield is a T3 weapon for the Sharpshooter costing 1100 dosh. Weighing only 7 units, The 'mad minute' is only just heavier than the M14 but has a considerably higher damage. The weapon is bolt-action, however it's incredibly smooth, and the weapon has a decent 10 round capacity that is loaded 5 shots at a time via stripper clips, making it faster than the SPX or LAR.

SWAT: American-180. A T2 weapon costing 750 dosh and weighing 4 units, the 180 is one of the most silly weapons in the game. Having a base capacity of 275 rounds, The weapon has over double the capacity of the P90, making it a certified trash killer. It has much reduced damage, but good stumble power, making it ideal for run and gun situations. The .22 cartridge produces little to no recoil, making this weapon one of the easiest to use but requiring good aim to put down weak targets quickly, as it is virtually useless against anything bigger than a gorefiend.

Sharpshooter needs some love next update

The spring update was clearly centered around Firebug with the class getting two new primaries and gunslinger getting one,

For the summer update i feel sharpshooter needs to get some attention mean realistically sharpshooter hasn't gotten a new weapon at all, while the SXP is a new gun it still is just a better version of the L.A.R, Which really isn't fair if you compare it to the weapon support got in the same update which was the HZ-12 which is much more than just a slightly better Double barrel.

I'd love for sharpshooter to get a fast firing low recoil semi auto rifle with iron sights like maybe a SKS.

Also would be a good time to add the A99 to the game.

UI bug during endless mode as field medic.

I am currently experiencing the UI bug in the picture. To explain it more in depth: I do not see the cut scene for the boss, I only see his name come across the screen like in the picture. And my UI stays like that during the entire boss fight.

I do not know how to report the bug to Tripwire, figured I would post it here.
