| [Discussion] Have you learned any "Grown-Up"/"Life Lessons" from Street Fighter? Posted: 10 Feb 2018 08:31 AM PST I posted a month or so ago about organizing some players in my area. I have hosted three events since then and they have all gone pretty well. They have just been five to eight players in a local board game/comic shop playing on PC. We are all pretty average skill level so the matches are pretty fair and exciting to watch. We only have a couple of rules, all which revolve around pretty universal norms of respect for others (I.E. Don't be a jerk and you'll be fine). I hope to grow up the club a bit more by seeing if any of the local high-school and colleges have clubs that would want to join us or we could work to create a collaborative event. We also intend to stream our next event so other players can join in and have some fun too. I'm learning a lot about organization, stepping out of my comfort zone and talking to strangers, and being a "leader" by just taking charge and actually getting this happening. My questions to you r/StreetFighter is has this game given you any life lessons or experiences you weren't expecting from a video game? P.S. Shoutout to all the Zeku mains. We out here! Posted: 10 Feb 2018 08:26 AM PST when playing the versus mode, before the match started there's this display of mm/dd/yy date flashing as part of the whole intro sequence. is there any setting to change it to dd/mm/yy ? i'm pretty sure i saw dd/mm/yy on twitch before. also, on stage selection, is there a way to make it display celsius instead of f? | Posted: 10 Feb 2018 08:04 AM PST This has happened to me twice now and I thought it was weird. After I activated VT2, if I get hit just as Nadeshiko appears on the screen she and I would get moved all the way across to the other side of the screen away from the other character. It was definitely not a rollback. It happened once online and then it happened on a local match with my brother last night. He was punishing me with a combo and this happened which got me out of the jam. I came back and won, so obviously, he was pretty salty. I wish I have a capture of it to show, but have any of you guys experience this? [link] [comments]  |
