Colonists won't disrobe of warm clothes on heatwave Posted: 31 Dec 2017 08:36 PM PST Going through a terrible heat wave right now, but the colonists won't take off their knit caps and jackets, lowering their upper temperature limit. Have I misconfigured something, or is this a bug? [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Dec 2017 07:11 PM PST I am preparing to launch my first ship and only require about 350 Uranium to build the final few parts. I've been lucky with my past Uranium, with 2 bountiful cargo pods. Any idea how I can get more Uranium? Been deep mining, doing long range mineral scans and calling both bulk and exotic goods traders, but I have nothing. Not even sure if I've missed some Uranium ore as I've seen somewhere that they look similar to normal stone (marble, limestone, etc.). Is it better to deep mine further away from the base or near rock formations? Which trader has a better chance for Uranium, bulk or exotic? Do tribe people carry them? I haven't called their faction for trading. [link] [comments]

Waking radius for sleeping mechanoids? Posted: 31 Dec 2017 08:48 PM PST How does the game decide whether or not a sleeping mechanoid will be woken? How close do you have to get? I've arrived at an item stash such that it's possible to approach the stash (which is in a room with a closed door) without getting closer than 7 squares from the nearest mechanoid. Can I safely run in, grab the loot, and then run away? Afterwards, will it be possible to reform the caravan with the mechanoids still sleeping? [link] [comments]

Posted: 31 Dec 2017 04:54 PM PST What organs can you remove from someone without killing them? I also have EPOE installed if it helps. [link] [comments]
| How do you know if a baby animal will be named? Posted: 31 Dec 2017 05:44 PM PST I bought a male and female arctic wolf from a trader, and they came named. Now several years later they've had several kids, and their kids have had kids, and those kids all have names. When my boomalope got pregnant, I used Animals Logic to name her and the father, uninstalled the mod, and waited for the baby. It wasn't named. How can I get my colonists to start naming baby animals? Is it something about buying them from a trader? Honestly, I would sell and rebuy them to get that to work, but I thought I'd ask here first. | Posted: 31 Dec 2017 02:41 PM PST I had a really tough battle against some raiders early in the game. They came with a shotgun-wielding luciferium and go-juice addict and a sniper against my five unprepared colonists. I thought it would be the end of my colony for sure. My colonists started dropping from pain, so I decided to set up a makeshift hospital in the stonecutting room in the hopes that I could get some of my colonists back on their feet in time to make a final stand. Amazingly, it worked, and I caught the raiders by surprise as they moved into my base to loot. I eventually drove them off, but not without one ridiculously unlucky colonist losing both legs and her jaw. You know things are rough when you can't use medicine since the time spent grabbing some would mean your colonist dies. In their panic, the raiders left behind one of their wounded who couldn't run any farther due to her wounds. I think this image really captures my RimWorld experience as a whole and the game's ability to tell compelling stories. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 31 Dec 2017 05:54 PM PST Is there a way to make a storage box/shelf/zone/something and then limit it? EG- Only put x amount of medicine in this spot, no more. Thanks! [link] [comments]
