Maximizing Ancient Bones from Player Owned Ports Posted: 25 Dec 2017 08:49 PM PST With ~2 weeks left of Bonus Ports Winter Weeks, I'm reposting this as a reminder and for those who haven't seen it yet. Build 4 Jade Statues (+10% chance of trade good voyages) Build 2 Biologist icons and 1 Missionary icon Constantly switch between 3 Biologist or 3 Missionary icons as needed. For example, if Biologist is out on a voyage and will continue to be out past daily reset/adventurer reroll, then build 3 Missionary icons instead. Vice-versa for opposite situation. Use Terracotta Merchant (TCM) on every ship (x1.33 rewards, rounds down, stacks with Bonus Ports Winter Weeks' x1.3 rewards and Fortune of the Sea x1.1 rewards). Focus on the Shield region - After you send out the Shield region's 13 Ancient Bones voyage, switch focus to Loop region when rolling standard voyages. If you get/send Loop region's 9 Ancient Bones voyage, switch focus to Pincers region when rolling standard voyages. Switch back to Shield region when the Shield voyage comes back. Max out crew/captain/captain traits (+4%) so you increase the chance of success. If you don't have the absolute best crew ready when you get the voyage, then wait for other ships/crew to arrive in port. If close to daily reset or using adventurer reroll, do NOT check any returned unwanted adventurers until AFTER the reset/reroll. Never let your ships be idle - send for Azure. Stockpile at least 12,885 Azure to trade for 15 Ancient Bones from the Trader when available (859 Azure per bone). After Azure, stockpile at least 20,625 Stainless Steel (1,375 Steel per bone). After Stainless Steel, stockpile at least 16,500 Terracotta (1,100 Terracotta per bone). Do your daily Ports random event (Barmaid, Seasinger Umi, Marketeer) you get for chance at adventurer reroll. You may get a max of 1 random event per Runescape "day". Do Motherlode Maw (Dragonkin) daily for chance at Player-Owned-Ports enhancers. Exchange 10 Crystal motherlode shards daily with Wythien for chance at Player-Owned-Ports enhancers. Exchange unfocused reward enhancers with Wythien for Player-Owned-Ports enhancers. All player-owned ports voyages return 30% extra resources or trade goods. Runemetrics webpage requires me to log in X amount of times Posted: 26 Dec 2017 05:16 AM PST So this one day last week I added the "Runemetrics" page to my favourites. Any time I use that favourite link (apps.runescape.com/runemetrics/app/welcome), I have to log in. Makes sense for the first time. Then I have to log in again and again and again, sometimes up to like 8 times, before I can actually see my profile. Any idea what the hell is causing this? Should tank armour be buffed/reworked? Posted: 25 Dec 2017 10:51 AM PST Except for extremely niche situations, it is pretty much common knowledge that tank armour is almost dead content apart maybe for Invention purposes. You have T70 power armour like Bandos being preferred for most tasks than an armour set takes months to get and with much higher level requirements and months of logging in daily (Tetsu). Christmas came late in Australia Posted: 25 Dec 2017 06:00 PM PST Not even going to deny the brag. So far this Boxing Day I have: Completed a spider leg at Rax, and bought a scythe with gainz. Received the Woody Pet at 89 woodcutting. (Got JoT title) Received back to back crests of Seren at Helwyr. Received the Twisted Antler drop 4 kills later, completing my Helwyr collection log.
