It's November 2001 and my mom asked what I wanted for Christmas, I made a list of everything I wanted and gave it to her. Christmas comes around and she specifically tells me to open a certain gift. I open it up and its an Xbox, I'm super excited but I have to wait to open the next gift until my siblings open their first gifts. It comes back around to me and I open up a smaller gift and its my first Xbox game, called Halo. I didn't know what Halo was and she said "The sales person said that was a really popular game and thought you would like it." That was an understatement, once we were finished with all the gifts, I spent most of that day in my bedroom playing as Master Chief saving the galaxy. Thank you mom for exposing me to the greatest video game franchise ever.

When Halo: Mythos came out, I was blown away. The art in it is stunning, and I was so giddy to see stuff from the novels finally visualized. Something I would love 343 to do is to craft books that are illustrations of stuff from the novels. I would say each book could have illustrations of up to like 3 books. I think the fanbase, especially the lore community would eat these up, and they would do quite well. What do you think, would you like this?

this has always bothered me, so the scenario is: has a needle rifle, walks over needler, and is confused why I can't use needle ammo for a different needler

So, The Last Jedi released Friday (technically Thursday evening), and things are quite interesting. While critics are loving it (RT score here), the fanbase is really divided on it. Some love or like it, while others dislike or hate it. Interesting that the 2nd installment of both stories is getting ripped apart, where the 1st installment was generally loved. Really reminds me of what happened with Halo 5. Not trying to read into it, just interesting that this is happening again.
