Say what you will about how long DayZ has been in early access but with PUBG being the last popular early access game to implement microtransactions, I just want to thank the devs for not even mentioning it once during their time in EA.

It's been 2 years since the announcement. Are they even working on it parallel to main game development, or should I not expect it to be released before or at 0.63 patch?

Disclaimer: the last straw for me was when I got one hit and killed by a zombie, while being completely healthy/energized etc.

worst to least offensive: feel free to add your own...explain why... apple glitching, server hopping, duping, esp/hacking, wall glitching, base glitching (bases in rocks, inaccessible areas / buildings, Loot tent servers, duping, the "door lockers", ghosting, the guys who run around taking tires/batteries off of vehicles to come back from there base later with the parts to use them..., bambi killing, friendly guy who asks you to open can for them...then kills you, water pump snipers, campers,

I know theres probaly more but i am just curious as to how the majority of players think towards the different exploits. cheers.

For a very long time I have been thinking about how I picture my ideal DayZ game to be. Realising that my imagination may not come true in the game itself, I have been seriously thinking about how viable a mod would be for Dayz SA.

Really, all that I am looking for is the game as it is right now, but harder. Below is a list of things I would change/rebalance, written up from my head over the course of 30 or so minutes.

Please let me know what you think. How do you feel about the concept in general and about specific suggested changes below? Thanks

Is anyone else familiar with this phenomena?

I guess it's the equivalent to like, finishing the main story line of AAA game, then sort of saying to yourself, "I've done everything I wanted to, I can put this game down now.".

I've noticed my group of 3, in the past, we got up to something ridiculous like 14 barrels and 4 tents full of gear, and then everyone just sort of plays less and eventually stops playing altogether until a wipe or new patch, etc.

We keep it fresh with PvP and a bit of role play here and there, but I feel like base building is really the main end game in Dayz, and once you have everything you want, there's nothing left to play for.

I'm intrigued to hear if others experience the same feeling and what could potentially be done about it, both in game and attitude wise.

Ghillie color fix

the color tweaks to the ghillie suit has made it worse overall. Some spots of the suit are dark with other spots being fine. The optimal color calibration of the suit was late june. At this point you do not blend in and the suit is easily distinguishable also seeming less lush and more patchy
