The only realistic long term goal I currently have is that I hope I'm alive with a decent pc when the next elderscrolls game comes out.
I remember thinking it when Morrowind and Oblivion came out as well....That's sort of depressing, but I stand by it

I just needed to say that to people who would hopefully appreciate it! I've been feeling really crappy the last few weeks and three hours on Skyrim with just me and Mjoll (and the volume turned down so I don't have to listen to her incessant rambling) puts me in such a better mood. This game got me through being primary carer for my terminally ill mum a few years ago. I'd put her to bed and then go and set fire to draugr with my bare hands and feel more in control. It just took me away from everything. It still does.

Nearly six years (and one Skyrim tattoo) later, it's still my favourite game. (Alongside Animal Crossing New Leaf but we'll gloss over that...)
