Hey folks,

Welcome to Workshop Wednesday, a community-building, regularly occurring thread on the subreddit!

Workshop Wednesday is a thread aimed at all things crafting, from sharing tips and knowledge, providing assistance, or offering crafting services to others.

Got a way to get more of those pesky crafting mats into your inventory? Have a rare recipe you're willing to produce for others? Just want to help with crafting as a whole? Let the community know here!

Crafting is a deep system in The Elder Scrolls Online with multiple professions, so be sure to participate in the thread whether you're a crafting novice or a master at sweetroll baking.

Seriously?! This game is 3 years old and the damn dungeon finder STILL doesn't work? I sit in ques for ages whether it be normal or vet dungeons.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Has it been brought to their attention or what?

We both were in a dungeon finder, our group kept wiping but we stuck together through multiple different groups trying to finish until we both agreed to give up. We talked for like an hour after we left the dungeon but than I bailed on the group to reform so we could find a new dungeon, only to forget I never added him so I can't find my buddie again. I don't remember his name. Mines Daxiont. If you see this buddie add me.

Some suggestions for more interface options on console

In a way I enjoy minimalist UI so I can see the gorgeous environments better, but there are some quality of life features that would make things so much smoother. You could make them toggles like resource numbers and combat text so everyone can choose if they want them or not.

  • Buff timers is a big one, so happy this is coming in Morrowind.
  • More info about group members in the top left corner of the screen. Please let us see others' class and level (and in dungeons, their role) so we have an idea going in. In PUGs, I always double-check who is supposed to be the healer and the tank because it's not always obvious from their behaviour or equipment.
  • Make all party members visible on the overhead compass, not just the party leader. Then we don't have to open the map to keep track of friends.
  • Make friends visible on the map, unless they toggle it off. Sometimes you want to find each other quickly without having to be in a group.
  • Make the chat window expandable without having to go into "Social". We can already set font size, but unless I keep it on "Large" I can't read it at all and I have an average size TV. Would be cool to keep the text on Large but be able to see more context.
  • A more detailed notification when we receive mail. Could be like the list of loot when we pick things up but instead just say things like "Item purchased", "Item sold", "Runes from Gavin Gavonne" etc.
  • Remaining charge strength on my equipped weapon. As it is now I constantly check the charge between fights. Nothing like running out in the middle of a long boss fight.

Those are some things off the top of my head and I think they could all be done. I'm in deep on Xbox and my friends and fiancée also play so switching to PC for add-ons is not an option. Feel free to add stuff you'd like to see.

Finally did a group dungeon

So I finally leveled up enough to do a group dungeon in ESO.

Holy shit.

This RP guild I've been frequently adventuring with took on this water purifying bullshit in craglorn, and it was fucking difficult. We bruted through it, dying constantly. One guy got stuck in a poisonous cloud, I glitched and had to redo an entire wing, but we finally made it to the final boss.

And she killed us. Again, and again, and again. We had to repair our armor from naked to full like twice, we did this four hours. Now it's 2 hours past all of our bedtimes, we're ready to call it quits. We do one more. We die pretty fast. Ok that didn't count, we do another. I decided to use my werewolf to take out the last wave because when the cloud shows up we always die, so I figured we could kill the shield maidens faster if I did that, but I ended up dying right as I transformed.

So I get revived once the cloud passes, my reviver dies, I avoid the roaming cloud until I see the boss's shield drop because thank fucking god someone killed the last one on the other side, but she dies and I'm the last one, I jump into her pedestal and smack the bitch in the face, I smack her so hard, and she dies as I'm the last one standing.

Everyone cheered me on, I've never felt so heroic and useful!

Are anniversary boxes bugged?

Is this some sort of leftover april 1st, or buggy item? :o

It's worth 3 gold though, so it's quite an expensive questionmark that someone put in there!

Hey everyone!

Today begins the day of ESO's third anniversary. Since releasing in 2014 the game has seen many changes and experienced a surge in players, we've visited lands little visited before ESO's time such as the Gold Coast and Wrothgar, even joined the Dark Brotherhood in their Black Sacrament.

To celebrate, Chef Donolon will be visiting a city near you and offering you a wonderful cake for a small exchange of ingredients. This cake will give you double XP for the duration of this event and has infinite uses, so be sure to use it all the time when out adventuring!

Furthermore, when completing a daily quest, you will receive an "Anniversary Gift Box" that contains crafting materials and also a small gift in the form of a rare item or motif. You can complete up to 50 dailies per day per character so be sure to take advantage to the free items whilst you can. If you are unsure about what dailies are or how to obtain them, I recommend /u/dominoid73's excellent guide The Dailies of ESO.

Everyone can participate and everyone loves cake, grab your cake today at 14:00 UTC (please click for the start time in your area) and the event ends at 14:00 UTC on the 18th of April 2017 (please click for the end time in your area).

The event begins on April 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM EDT, and ends on April 18, 2017, at 10:00 AM EDT. If you are having trouble finding him, check the Crown Store for a free Jubilee Cake Voucher that'll grant you a quest directing you to his location. Once his quest is complete, the new 2nd Annual Jubilee Cake will be added to your Mementos collection. You can use the cake to place it in the world. Once placed, anybody within your group can take a slice and (for the duration of the event) receive a two-hour 100% XP buff that stacks with any other active XP bonuses. Have a party! In addition to the above, all daily and weekly quests completed during the anniversary event will grant you an Anniversary Gift Box (along with their regular rewards). These gift boxes contain crafting materials, but they are also guaranteed to include at least one rare item such as Nirncrux, Motif chapters, Style items, Furniture crafting items, or more. Tasty!

I have 60,000 gold. What should I do with it?

A while back I had started a guild around the time the game came out and it was a trading Guild. Overtime I got bored of the game and I guess the guild died out. We'll just recently I decided to redownload the game and found 60,000 gold in the guild vault. Seeing as the guild is now dead I have 60,000 gold at my dispense should I choose to use it in the game. As a fairly low-level character what should I use the 60,000 for? Is that even worth much?

[PVP] no cp campaign stam DK vs mag DK (both tanky) unsure what i want to play

as topic say im really unsure what i want to play.

i have a lvl 48 dunmer dk lvled last xp event and im unsure how i want to play him. im also cp 171 so best equip is available for me

for pve i want to play both as a tank (at least tanking vet dungeons). this what i read should be able as mag or stam either

but my main focus in eso is entering cryodil and on morowind the 4v4v4 bgs. so im unsure what i should play....

i dont like the big zergs i want to be usefull in smaller groups or solo i dont need to do the dmg of the hell on earth, a good balance between sustain and dmg would be nice

plz tell a still absolute pvp noob what type of dk fits this role by the most:) PLZ give also a reason for your comment!

I have vampirism without being a vampire

So I was bitten by a bloodfiend in Bangkorai and now I have Vampirism (without giving me any kind of bonus or malus) in my character screen. But nothing else happened, no new quest appeared, I haven't seen any new NPC wanting to give me a quest, and the vampire altars in both DC and AD are empty.

What do I do?

Inconsistent Mouse Sensitivity in-game

I know that this should technically go through the Zenimax support, but as far as I can tell they don't deal with this, so to Reddit I came. In game, I seem to have a problem with the camera's sensitivity suddenly speeding up regularly every few seconds, no matter how slowly or quickly I move my mouse. This problem is relegated only to the camera, as menus are fine.

I have checked Windows' mouse settings, my mouse software (I use a Razer Naga Molten), and fiddled with the in-game settings, but nothing seems to help. There seem to have been a few other posts with such an issue, but the information on them was old and of no help, and they were archived to boot, thus I made my own post.

Has anyone else had this problem, and better, does anyone know how to fix it? I finally wanted to give ESO another try but this bug is putting quite a damper on my experience.

advice help

so I haven't played ESO since shortly after the imperial city was added and am starting to get back into it. Does anyone have any advice on where to start cause I have no clue where to go since so much has been added since I stopped playing. any advice would be much appreciated. I'm on Xbox BTW if that matters at all
