An update has been dispatched for the main client. This patch is primarily an update to bring in all the cosmetics that are being given out at The International in to the game.
New Treasure Chests
Alternate versions of the two The International 4 treasure chests have now also been added to the game along with Autographed versions. This way the crowd that stays at home can still have chance to get all the items.

Golden Trove Cask
This is a chest that you get when you buy one of the mini heroes at the event. All the items in this chest are Genuine and Immortal. They are the golden versions of the items you unlock in the regular Trove Cask and Trove Carafe.

- Geodesic Eidolons and Wolf Hunter True Form Portraits have been updated.
Workshop Updates
- Workshop artists are now allowed to create Chat Emoticons.
UI Updates
- The Armory Previews have now been enlarged.
- Some new elements have been added where the International attendees will be able to redeem their codes and stuff.
Broadcaster Updates
- A lot of finer tuning commands have been added to the observers to improve the quality of observing.
- There is now an option for the observer slot camera man to query controls from main broadcaster and override if needed.
The International 4 Pods Update
- The next match text entry file has been updated to read Newbee vs Vici and the winner would advance to play later today. The game starts at 10:00 AM.
- The pod seats now have the new entries for all the Main Event teams.
- The players are all linked to their respective seats so the game can load their information correctly.
- The All-Star Match also has special team entries with the teams participating.
- The schedule file has also been updated to show the schedule for this year.
Audio Updates
- Improvements were made to the Dota TV audio. Hopefully they're much better now.
- Earth Spirit now has lines set for Picked and Banned. Basically means he is coming to Captain's Mode soon.
- Shadow Shaman spawn sound line has been changed from Line 2 to Line 1. You can visit the responses on the Dota Wiki to check out the lines exactly if you're interested.
- Earthshaker pick sound has been changed from line 2 to line 1.
- Shadow Shaman pick sound has been changed from line 2 to line 1.
- "superexplosion.mp3" has a special audio entry. Boom Boom!
Texture Updates

Hero Updates
- Techies now has strings for his bio. - Techies Demolitions! We put the tech in tech-nically we meant to do that.
- Moved from The Dire to The Radiant.
Ability Updates
- Skill entries for techies: Land Mine, Stasis Trap and Remote Mine.
- Techies max mines has been fixed from 21 to 20 and the blast radius has been fixed from 200 to 200-500 range.
- Tooltip updates to the skills to show minimum and maximum blast radius of the bombs and suicide.
- Damage values of Remote Mines has been fixed.
- Focused Detonate has now been given a cooldown of 1 second.
- Remote Mine vision has been fixed from 200 to 900 both day and night.
Visual Updates
- Now has updated Spell Icons, Hero Icon and Minimap Icon. Preview
- Now has a in-game portraits for the hero, the mines and the trap.
- All the accompanying models such as Mines and the Trap have been made game ready. Just means they work as they should.
- Now has facial animations.
- Now has the loadout and card portrait enabled. Preview
- Mode, texures and particles have now been updated too. At this point, I think he's pretty much ready.
