What makes online cheating so prevalent in China? Posted: 16 Feb 2018 07:00 AM PST With the news coming out from PUBG's anti-cheat company that 99% of their banned accounts are from China, it made me wonder, why China? Is there something about the culture there that makes cheating in online gaming something to be admired? Is it just a "win by any means" mindset there? Or is it simply because the of population density there that it seems more widespread than anywhere else? [link] [comments] |
What do you feel is the worst multiplayer map you have ever played? Posted: 16 Feb 2018 07:12 AM PST After a couple of rounds of PUBG today I realised that I genuinely don't like Miramar, to the point that if I could find confirmation that deleting the map file wouldn't get me banned I would have already done it. The map feels horrible after the first three minutes with some absolutely horrendous mid game and its lack of close range options means that my horrible long range accuracy results in me routinely having to hard push everyone. Visually the map is horrendous, it is both a boring shit stained brown and sparse in detail. After mulling over the issues I had with it I wandered what other maps players feel are either poorly designed (especially if it is a well designed map that just doesn't fit into the game), visually unappealing or over played to the point of being disinteresting? P.S. de_dust 2 being overplayed people need not apply :P EDIT: Thanks to Swinns, I also want to know which game had well designed maps that were ruined by the games mechanics, rather than the other way around.
