| Xyinn Network - A legit (and legal) Diablo II Single Player & Multiplayer Network Posted: 24 Jan 2018 02:44 PM PST Hello folks, I posted the below in the /r/Diablo2 subreddit but it seems that this subreddit also has Diablo 1, 2, and 3 content, so not sure which is really the official Diablo subreddit at this point. Thus I'll post the follow below. This is my only "self-promotion" type of post in this subreddit so should be within the rules I read. Last month I made a posted that included all of the work I've done to improve people's Diablo II experience on Single Player and LAN (https://www.reddit.com/r/diablo2/comments/7ig8x4/diablo_ii_single_player_enhancement_mods_and/) Today I would like to formally announce the Xyinn Network Forums. This is a new Diablo II community specifically targeting the Single Player community. People that primarily play Single Player and that want to also be able to easily play Multiplayer with people via LAN are invited. No piracy is supported so everyone that wants to play LAN needs to have purchased a legal copy of Diablo II. No bots, hacks, dupes, etc are allowed. The server uses Tinc (Free & Open Source) to create a mesh network between players. This is better than Hamachi and provides as a easier experience for people. It also is free so everyone can have accessibility to it. We are a closed community and thus people can't just make an account and join LAN game. But everyone is allowed to apply to join (You most likely will get accepted, it's just a layer of control so that people that cause issues can be quickly removed). This is all completely legal. We aren't using PvPGN or anything like that to create a closed battle.net server. Those types of things are using battle.net emulation and thus Blizzard can close down those servers at any time. Our network as described above is just using Tinc to create a mesh between us and allow us to Play LAN. So technically you could play any game that supports LAN over TCP/IP. However, we are a Diablo only community. Singling is the only modification allowed on the network and it contains only quality of life and bug fix improvements, no gameplay changes. I want to know if this damage or the periodic damage from heavens fury blessed ground counts towards the on hit chance to smite the enemy from my Mirinae.. [link] [comments]  | ||

| How to cope/deal with HC Character dying? Posted: 24 Jan 2018 08:33 PM PST I know the grieving process is natural. Especially when you've poured so many hour into them. Just three days ago I lost a HC Wizard by the name of Joseph whom died one Level before achieving 70. https://i.imgur.com/V5E6vQQ.jpg So out of spite, I created another. Not the same stats, just the same class and I grinded her to Level 70. Even then I find myself hard to continue playing the game after all the grief Joseph unintentionally caused. | Posted: 24 Jan 2018 01:55 PM PST im wondering how much pick up radius super fast builds have. i play a barb and with bk swords, wreath, boon, and with 12 pick up radius i leave a lot of gold on the ground. if i used marathon, bravado, and chilaniks chain itd be even worst. it definitely seems like kymbos gold and goldskin are a waste and you are better off with standard 35% gold find and a secondary of pick up radius. even goldwrap seems like it could be pointless once you get some paragon, though i suppose you could roll off 35% gold find for pick up radius. edit: im on console btw. does gold drop differently between console/pc? edit2: i do use avarice band and even when fully stacked i still have this issue. Posted: 24 Jan 2018 04:28 PM PST I seem to hit a wall around grift 85 - 86 because I simply do not deal enough damage, surviving isnt a problem i just keep running out of time. Iam a bit confused about what to reroll on my weapons. I have basically no cdr, but this should be alright? Do I need resource cost reduction somewhere and how much areadmg/life on hit? 2. Also I am using esoteric instead of zeis, because I have no chance surviving without and was wondering on how to do that? 3.
