Just beat Twilight Princess, what game should I play next? Posted: 13 Apr 2018 08:26 AM PDT So just some context, I was having a really rough time with life and twilight princess gave me something to look forward to on the weekends and its hands down my favorite game of all time. but now im wondering what i should play next? I've beaten MM, BotW, and WW and im at the forest temple in ocarina, tho i cant really say im enjoying it much (please dont crucify me). So what are some of the great games i should play? I've got both the oracle games, link to the past, and skyward sword but i can get a hold of anything else. Sorry if this isn't the kinda thing that normally gets posted or if its not allowed... Thanks in advance guys! [link] [comments]
Breath of the wild and Recipes Posted: 13 Apr 2018 10:20 AM PDT I like the cooking aspect of the game but without the use of the benefits there really isnt a reason to make all the exotic recipes. I wish this game had like a recipe list that fills out every time you make a new recipe. Maybe at the end a nice reward like a cooking outfit or something. I just dont have excuse to even make these extra recipes i see on the posters. [link] [comments]

Discussion on What Should be in the NEXT Zelda Game Posted: 13 Apr 2018 08:34 AM PDT Hello! I want to be quite frank with this post, in that I absolutely fell in love with Breath of the Wild when it first came out. I love the expansive open world, the music, even the shrines. I do believe that Breath of the Wild deserved its Game of the Year award. That being said, I do believe that there is A LOT that Nintendo needs to improve upon for the next game to live up to the hype. I am going to list a few things that I would like to see in the next Legend of Zelda Game, and would love to see some discussion on what other people want for the next game. First and foremost, I definitely want to see a more complex storyline. I don't know how Nintendo would approach this, but I need more stories like Skyward Sword or Twilight Princess. In my opinion, the game was severely lacking from that standpoint. I also believe that there NEEDS to be more enemy variety. 150 hours in, and I don't see the point of playing anymore since the game feels so repetitive. I am always killing the same few enemy types, and although I do like that there is varied difficulty as you progress through the game, I don't think that is enough. I especially do not like the lack of enemies in the divine beasts. While we are on the subject of Divine Beasts, I also believe that the next Zelda Game needs more expansive dungeons. I think anyone that has played any previous Zelda game can agree that the dungeons in Breath of the Wild are SEVERELY lacking. I need dungeons that actually get my brain working, in the Divine Beasts I felt like I was just doing the same thing over and over. Not to mention the lack of enemies in the Divine Beasts. They felt empty, which understand was a design decision, but I believe ended up hurting the game. And don't come at me with, "thats why we had shrines," because the Shrines are so small and empty that they do not make up for the Divine Beasts. The game just feels extremely repetitive after playing for so long. I am going into the same shrines, with the same designs, same enemies etc etc. I know that the EXPANSIVE open-world was supposed to make up for the lack of variety, and it did when I was first playing the game. After 150 hours, I just can not bring myself to finish the shrines or side-quests or anything else past defeating Ganon. I have always 100% other Zelda games. These are my three biggest complaints. Don't get me wrong, I do not hate Breath of the Wild. I fell in love with it when it first came out. I loved the exploring and the nostalgia I got from playing the game. I just believe that as time goes on, these flaws are just too big not to discuss. Each Zelda should be improved upon, and if the community doesn't start talking about the things they want in the next game, I don't think the next game will be all that different from Breath of the Wild (just look at the development from Ocarina to Skyward Sword, all great games with their own differences, but all essentially the same). So lets start talking about what we want in the next game!!! sidenote: To give a little background on how much I have completed of BotW, I have roughly 150 hours on the game. I have not completed all shrines or korok seeds, as I am waiting for that spark that makes me want to complete it. I did complete all divine beasts and defeated ole' ganon. I also have a Zelda tattoo and named my cat Midna, so this franchise is very near and dear to my heart. edit: cross posted on the Breath of the Wild subreddit :p [link] [comments]
