Hello members of the /r/hearthstone community,

This is a weekly thread designed for more advanced discussion regarding the intricacies of Hearthstone. Questions and answers should be focused on high-level theory crafting, such as card synergy, efficient mana drafts, and the viability of cards in certain situations.

Please keep it clean and try to add more than just a one or two word response. As the goal of this post is to increase the community's knowledge, the thought process matters as much as the answer! There is also a Newbie Tuesday weekly post, for those who wish to discuss the basics.

Hearthstone has 7 full card expansions and 4 adventures in total, but we still have vanilla quest, gold and dust gain system.

How did we not get any news on improving those vanilla systems (especially with weekly upvoted posts about hearthstone being too expensive) is really beyond me...

In Tavern Brawl, if the board becomes full AFTER Nefarian casts flame missiles, he kills himself

The other player casted ancestral spirit on my Cairne, and Nefarian only killed my cairne when I had 6 minions. Nefarian took 1000 damage and the game ended. No screenshot because I expected my board to get wiped and didn't have enough time before the game ended. This happened to me in the third phase if that matters.
