343's best moves for multiplayer

Remove Sprint, Slide, Ground Pound and Spartan Charge but keep Thruster, Clamber and Stabilize. This would provide the Classic Halo feel without sprint while still having a fresh new take on the whole thing.

Next is to double down and give people all the game modes that they want. BTB with dev maps, Forge, Oddball, Infection, Grifball, Assault, Juggernaut, and way more and most importantly have all these things in the game at LAUNCH.

Also, we need full Spartan customization similar to Reach and Halo 4. People want to personalize their Spartan and if it's realistic then playable Elites should return too. We also need better armour sets. Quality over quantity rings true here. It doesn't matter if you have 500 armour sets if most of them are forgettable and have little variation.

Warzone needs to come back and, in a perfect world, without REQ packs. This mode needs to be even bigger and more balanced. Also please make more than 6 maps for it because that's one of the biggest reasons why it got stale quick. Look to Battlefield for inspiration on how to include micro transactions/lootboxes without being so tied to the gameplay.

Firefight at launch. Again, look towards Battlefield for inspiration. Specifically, look at the Operation Campaigns and try to make Firefight like that. The multiplayer is all supposed to be a simulation right? So why don't we participate in iconic battles with the Covenant from Halo's vast lore? Invasion could do something similar if it came back.

Custom Games Browser at launch. This is seriously a no brainer.

XP system with interesting ranks to achieve instead of just numbers. Numbers are boring, it's way cooler to get a shiny new emblem with a title 'General' than it is to get to 120.

Maps, every map should feel like it's own thing. No more borrowing obvious things from other maps and no more remixes. Every map should feel unique and we should get some more asymmetrical ones for objective modes like 1 Flag and Bomb modes.

God I hope it'll be like an extended version of halo landfall with a story. I just hope it's something back in the human-covenant war because frankly the prometheans are not as interesting as the covenant.
