The next installation of The BountyHunter Series has been announced. The tournament is changing locations from Europe to Asia, specifically the Oceanic Region. The tournament will also be changing format from a King of the Hill style to a traditional double elimination format. The tournament will take place from June 19th to June 24th.
The team pool is comprised of eight invited teams from the region who will battle for a prize pool set at $2,500. Tickets are on sale in the Dota 2 store for an in-client viewing experience. The ticket also comes bundled with the RaiQ custrom courier as an added bonus.
The tournament will be a good indicator of what to expect from the teams representing the region at Valve's The International in July. The winner of the Oceanic Regions TI4 Qualifiers, Arrow Gaming, are among the names of the invited teams as well as the regions runner-up team, MVP.Phoenix. Here is the full list of invited teams:
Match 1 : Mineski vs iM (BO3)
Game 1 : Team Immunity started up smoothly. First blood came on their favor and frequent kills came for the aggrasive trilane doing the laning phase, which forced the offlane
Doom Bringer to switch bottom, which on the other hand made a lot of space for 
Windranger to go for nice core items. As the time progressed Team Immunity kept taking good team fights and frequent pick-offs keeping the 
Morphling relatively under-farmed, at last winning the game at around 36:00 minute mark.
Game 2 : This time Mineski started up with a high note. Teams collided with each other at level 1 near the top rune . Although
Windranger from Team Immunity got the first blood , with the help of constant 
Dazzle Shadow Wave and some excellent multi-hero Burrowstrike from the 
Sand King , Mineski got 4 early kills. For the rest of the game due to the presence of 
Lycanthrope, Mineski kept taking towers constantly on top of aegis and at just 14:00 minute mark they got the melee racks. For the rest of the game Mineski kept taking fights at their opponent towers and took them one by one even though they lost most of the team fights. They won the game at around 33:00 minute mark.
Game 3 : Team Immunity drafted a nice combo of
Faceless Void and 
Ancient Apparition . On paper 5 man team fight potential was looking better for Team Immunity than Mineski. This time Mineski grabbed an easy First Blood at level 1 on Ancient Apparition . For the rest of the game Team Immunity coordination wasn’t seen like the previous ones, on top which
Batrider on the safe-lane acquired a early blink. Multiple Moon Light Shadow initiations failed, also the presence of Stampede in the enemy team haunted them throughout the game.
Mineski garbed the win on 37:00 minute mark and bagging the 1st Bounty Hunter Asia Spatial tournament victory with 2-1 score.
Match 2 : Pokerface vs Scythe (BO3)
Game 1 : Scythe Gaming stuck with a completely stay back and farm, a few pick offs policy all through the game. Game stayed at complete deadlock. Both the team kept killing each other although the gold graph was totally in favor of Scythe gaming. At 42:00 minute mark both teams clashed on the radiant top tier 3 tower, in which Pokerface had to suffer a team wipe. Scythe won the game.
Game 2 : This time again Scythe Gaming stuck with the same strategy although with a much greedier, level dependent lineup. Although Pokerface had a nice early team-fight and snowballing line up they kept playing passive for too long. Although they succeed a nice 4 man wipe around 20 minute mark but due to the huge gold deficit and lanes being pushed out all the time by the
Naga Siren, made them stuck at their base.
Scythe Gaming bagged their first victory in the Bounty Hunter Asia Spatial tournament comfortably by score 2-0.
